I don't believe Cowherd is always right. He often states things he is wrong on and never revisits the subject where he'd have to admit being wrong. And he's been slow as hell on Tomlin, admitting he should step away. But he's finally come around, however late. However much Art Rooney over-pays Tomlin, he is wrong is keeping him as the Steelers head coach, very, very wrong. Wake up Art, no amount of sipping scotch will me this right, however much you try. You have to yank Tomlin from his comfy position as head coach, you must.

2018 broke Tomlin, after they collapsed down the stretch he blamed turnovers and way overcorrected. Ever since they’ve basically hidden from turnovers on offense and relied on the defense to eek out close wins. He even admitted after Russ torched the Bengals for 44 that he wasn’t comfortable winning in that manner. Next 6 games they averaged 16 PPG.
This team needs a young, fresh offensive mind at HC and top notch coordinators.

Cowher's personnel leaving is what broke him.
Perhaps, and Clown-lins inability to replace the same caliber players and assistant coaches.

Ryan Clark has come out and stated it is time for Tomlin to move on. It simply is what it is. I think the number 200 means a bunch to Rooney. It might just take Tomlin 3 more years to reach it.

I personally like Coach in here & never had an issue with him, which is odd cause I have been told here several times with much truth behind it I might add, that I am an azz... I dont think we've ever exchanged harsh words (UNLESS HE WAS INCOGNITO & I was drunk & didn't know who he was)
That said, what would Batman be without the JOKER & what would Steeler Nation be without Coach...Gotta have an Arch-Villain...
If this team doesn't need a "fresh start," no team does. Clown-lin is operating on nothing but fumes.

For the record, not that one is needed here, I supported Coach, welcomed him back. this new version of coach is hard to enjoy. it is more painful.
