Pittsburgh is better than most but when movie producers were looking for a spot to film the dystopian movie “The Road” they went to the Duquesne area of Pittsburgh and all they had to do was add fake snow.

I'm just outside DC. I've never eaten there. I've eaten at The Palm and several others.

Now that I'm older, I do everything I can to avoid going downtown.
 

Report: Boston Police Secretly Helping ICE Nab Illegals Behind Mayor Wu’s Ban​

Boston cops are defying left-wing Mayor Michelle Wu by secretly providing immigration officials with information to help arrest criminal illegals, according to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

Wu has been prominent among the many extremist Democrat mayors who are openly rebelling against federal immigration law, welcoming illegal aliens, and demanding that her administration block the enforcement efforts of ICE and other federal law enforcement officials.

But, if Lyons’ comments can be believed, many Boston police officers are engaging in a rebellion of their own.

“They can’t cooperate openly out of fear of getting in trouble or getting fired. But they’re helping us anyway,” Lyons said on the Howie Carr Show on Wednesday.

Lyons added that Boston is not the only city where police officers are quietly aiding ICE.

“That’s the issue we’re seeing in so many jurisdictions,” Lyons continued. “We have so many men and women on the Boston Police Department and other jurisdictions that are so pro-ICE, that want to work with us and that are actually helping us behind the scenes.

“And that’s what I think local leaders don’t understand, is they need to talk to the men and women on the ground, because… there are so many of these criminal aliens that keep getting released to go out and commit more crimes that the local law enforcement have to deal with. We can take that violent criminal alien instantly out of the neighborhood,” he added.

Meanwhile, Wu is hyperbolically accusing ICE officers of being something akin to neo-Nazis or being Trump’s “secret police.”

Lyons, though, is unimpressed with Wu’s name calling and recently said he and his department intends to “flood the zone” to enforce immigration law despite Wu’s censures.

“We’re definitely going to, as you’ve heard the saying, flood the zone, especially in sanctuary jurisdictions,” Lyons told Carr.

“Boston and Massachusetts decided to say that they wanted to stay sanctuary,” Lyons told the conservative talker. “Sanctuary does not mean safer streets. It means more criminal aliens out and about the neighborhood. But 100%, you will see a larger ICE presence.”

I'm for political actions/movements/stunts that save lives.

You just affirmed loss of life is irrelevant to you.

You understand that DC is a Federal City, not one that belongs within a State....righttt????

Further, when you add the fact that our nation's capitol has a higher murder rate than the capitol's of Columbia, Iraq and on and on...well, it's a priority to have the MOST important city in the MOST important nation in the world be safe first.

Now that the experiment shows it works....roll it out to all those cities those you worship have ruined.

I have lived in both.
Both have their good points. And bad.
I am about 30 min from Baltimore.
I get the privilege of being in both DC and Baltimore almost weekly.
I am in Carroll County at least. Not Montgomery

MoCo here. Been here 35 years. I've been able to witness Liberalism moving this once amazing county in the very wrong direction.

The County Gov strives to be JUST like California. They just passed a "no gas powered leaf blower" mandate, as an example.

Taxes are bad in MD (as you know) and Montgomery County's is very high. People here are paying $8,500-$11,000 a year for property tax on 2500-3300 sq foot homes.

And we are subjected to indoctrination you can't stop. Funny example: Our trash and recycling pickups are affected numerous times throughout the year due to holidays and weather. So I signed up for a number that texts you simply to say "Your collection day is tomorrow" so I'll know when a skipped pickup will happen again. As a bonus to this service, once a week, I also get propaganda messages put out by the county. Since January, 100% of those texts has some anti-Trump message in it. This week's:

I'm 30 mins (an hour with traffic) from DC. This issue doesn't affect most of us. But the county makes sure to localize everything Trump does and foment more TDS.
 
I went out there to see the boy while he was at George Mason U, a few times. I wish we had gotten together for a cold one.

He moved, so it ain't happening anymore.

Yeah. The fed wage in MD. Is $15.00 per hours Montgomery CO. $17.65.
It is hard to do business in MOCO.

The left is moving out towards Carroll County. They had 25 whole people protesting on no kings day. Everyone else was making fun of them
