Yeah but they put him in worst possible time. Game was on razors edge. No way he was gonna be in pass pro. Only good thing was they URd him out of bound.

Agreed. No reason not to rotate him in earlier though. Hell. They were running Gainwell in when they should have had Warren in there. Just like last season when they were throwing Patterson in there at the craziest times.

The 2 downlineman set has failed for now how many seasons? Changes in-season need to be made ...perhaps. Will Tomlin own it? Doubtful.

He is in the same mold perhaps as Warren. Johnson is a different type of back. Give him some carries.

The defensive coaching sucked. Stevie Wonder could see that. Whether that is all Austin or Tomlin's meddling is the only question.
I am not a Tomlin defender or hater, but I bash him when it's appropriate and give him credit when it's due.

The run defense looked just like it did in the playoffs against the Rats last year, which to quote Patrick Queen is "****." Tomlin didn't play them in the preseason and it showed. I don't think they are as bad as last year, but they are going to need time playing together and the scheme adjusted accordingly. Adjusted because nothing can simulate real game action in letting you know what capabilities a bunch of new faces truly have.

Tomlin has to be at least on board w/ the 2 DL sets. If he didnt like / want them he would at least tell Austin not to use them especially against run heavy teams.

Well the 2 DL set is HIS staple so....yeah. He is on board.

And Warren has loose hands also....so what do you do? You drafted him high for a reason. No? Giving him one carry was mind boggling. Maybe he is in Tomlin's doghouse for some reason only k own to Tomlin. 🤔

I am watching CBS. Have not heard them talk about Tomlin. They talked about Rodgers alot.
Other than 1 member on here no one is dancing around about Tomlin being a good coach.
Maybe just maybe people have figured Tomlin out
