Trump is absolutely a narcist, I won't argue that one iota. So is almost every top leader we have, or they wouldn't have run for the positions in the first place. If you aren't voting for one for President, you just aren't voting period.

David Gentile, Trevor Milton, Todd and Julie Chrisley, Carlos Watson, Rick Scott and Charles Scott are don’t think you should be focused on those types of issues.

It's been a long time, but there have been lengthy discussions about priests and pedophilia here. I'm Catholic, Catholics like myself are as appalled and disgusted by it as anyone else. No one here has ever defended Catholic priest pedophiles, it's not exactly a controversial topic where there's room for debate. I'm personally ambivalent about the capital C Church because of it, I remain in my local church because we actually do good things for people and that's important to me. The capital C Church also does an awful lot of good in the world, not that it negates this specific evil. I personally believe priests should be allowed to marry and women should be allowed to be priests. It's caused me to strongly consider leaving Catholicism for the Episcopal church, hard as that may be due to the relationships I've built.

Now if you're outraged by pedo priests but you're ok with a grown man putting on lipstick, calling himself a woman and exposing his penis to little girls in showers and locker rooms you might be a hypocrite.

I refer you to my original point and ask you about the prevalence of trans people exposing themselves to minors vs the prevalence of clergy (Catholic or not) sexually assaulting minors. If you can show they’re anywhere near equally prevalent, I’ll understand your point. Until then, I’ll find the obsession with trans people and the supposed threat they pose to children to be a peculiar one.

Also, if all could get on same page regarding whether or not you’re equating trans people to pedophiles, it’d be helpful because you're claiming that your not, but it really seems like you are.

What we have in Minnesota is entirely different, still under investigation and has far more serious implications. We are talking billions here from both state and federal tax dollars, much of it siphoned off to terrorist organizations.

Claims were made 10 or so years ago by several of us that if we normalized the trans ideology, it would be a "slippery slope" leading to worse things being normalized. We predicted that slippery slope would lead to normalizing pedophilia as well. Making this claim is NOT IN THE LEAST comparing/equating transgerdism with pedophila. Not at all. Not in the least. Not remotely

Is this ignorance? Do you truly believe that the phrase "slippery slope" somehow means equal to or to equate?

Or are you being your typical trolling self?

I’m not sure what your point is about prevalence. I mean, no one is arguing pedo clergy members are ok or were not a serious problem. Are there a lot of trans people exposing themselves to children? Not currently. It's something people are trying to prevent. Obviously if anyone can call themselves a woman and access private women's and girls' spaces, there are people who will (and have) taken advantage of that. The "obsession" or backlash is what's preventing this practice from becoming more widespread. What is your argument, it's not that prevalent (yet) therefore we shouldn't speak up and try to prevent it?

Again, no one's arguing clergy members should have unfettered access to children in vulnerable spaces. In fact the Church has taken many steps to ensure this is never allowed...as a volunteer with children I underwent extensive child abuse training, including being trained never to be alone in a room one on one with a child while on Church business. There are however, loud screeching voices demanding we let any man who puts on women's clothes or lipstick call himself a woman and access private female spaces including locker rooms where little girls shower and change.

No all transpeople are not pedos. Never said they were and it is irrelevant to the discussion. How adults want to live or dress or act is none of my business, until their actions start to infringe on the rights of others. Dress like a woman if you want, you don't have the right to demand that I accept you as a woman, especially where private, vulnerable spaces are concerned.
