2026 Free Agency Begins Thread

When you can't get a star centre to a second deal this **** is getting out of control.
When your centre is the best free agent Olineman and the team with the number 1 pick is going to be drafting a QB and doesn't have any Oline this is going to happen.

Nice of the Raiders after fleecing Baltimore of 2 first round picks for Crosby to do Pittsburgh another favour and take one of the best centres in the league away from Baltimore.

I'm glad some team got suckered in to signing Willis so the nonsensical talk around here can stop.

It can now be fully about the goat Rodgers comiN to town.

Salute the nation

The one thing I would like to explore, whether it be the FA market or a mid to later draft pick is a more of an electric PR/ KR .
Sometimes these are Backup WR’s or DB’s. I have no idea if Roman Wilson could take on this role…….he did have experience while playing with Michigan. One of the many things I disagreed with our former coach was not giving him a chance returning kicks. We have been sorely lacking in this position for years.

Acquired WR Michael Pittman Jr.
Signed CB Jamel Dean RB Rico Dowdle
Retained LB Cole Holcomb DL Esezi OtomewoLo

Don't we have some RB that we drafted last season for that role?

His first year and until he got hurt, I thought he played hard. After the injury he wasn't the same.
I gave him a pass in the first year back. After that I watched the replays. Ive coached a lot of fantastic linebackers over the years. He was below or well below in:
Read and react instincts
Physical strength
Ability to shed (like he was in a tractor beam for blocks)
Willingness. Sometimes a backer just has to dog and give himself up to not make a play but blow up a gap.
He was above the line in coverage but not like wow he can eliminate a inside threat.
