Lots to like last week. Let’s hope they can build on it and not let any of the Jets stink rub off.
Kaleb Johnson didn’t get much work last week. Seemed they wanted to get reps for Nichols and Homer. If they don’t play Kaleb again, he’s done here. Even if he’s odd man out, they should get him touches to trade him. Teams doing outside zone should still like him.
Looking for Allar to build on a great start last week. Footwork already looks better and his decision making was really good. That big play to Wetjen was impressive because that was his 2nd read. Allar said TE was first read and he got to #2 so quickly, it created that big play opportunity. With him playing the 2nd half, it’s doubtful he’ll get to throw to anybody but 3rd and 4th stringers.
