Ross in round one would be tempting.

A blazing fast slot man, an ace returner, and a package wide receiver to split wide and go deep.

Ben is the best deep passer in the NFL

In my opinion we need someone that can get to the qb. I don't care who or what position.

Rush the passer, rush the passer....rush the passer! It makes your entire secondary that much better. It's a no brainer considering this team has got picked apart by scrub qbs for years because they had enough time to smoke a cigar in the pocket.

No...

Ross flanked.by AB and Bryant with our OL and Ben? Big play galore with Bell having lot of room to run or catch underneath.

Very tempting if he is there. Or the Steelers can pick the 5th best edge rusher

As long as he can ******* sack a QB. If he can't do that and slips to round 3, then he'll yes !!!!!!

Salute the nation

What concerns me is Ross is showing somewhat of a injury pattern. Hell we do not even know how that will effect his season..he isn't 100% now.

Pretty big dice to roll in 1. Not that that speed isn't attractive and the fact he looks like a football player with speed not just a track guy.

But the medical staff would have to clear him.

Not that we will get a opportunity to draft him he probably goes in the 15-25 range...........

Ross is a good kid. And he has transcendent speed that is something you can never teach.

But he doesn't fit here. If we had not signed Brown to a long term deal or we have traded him for a pick, of course Ross is in the discussion, but that's not what we are doing. Ross is not a slot guy. Just because you are small and fast does not mean slot success. He needs to be put in positions to effect safeties. He is so fast, he can run by CB's THEN run by or cause bad angles for Safeties. He also causes CB's to bail and turn so early because they are afraid of his speed that is opens up all sorts of out routes and comebacks. And last his speed/acceleration is so unique he is a weapon on bubble screens because CB's sit so far off him it's almost a 5 year run play anytime you want.

You put him in the slot, you are going to open up jams and more traffic for people to get their hands on him. Doesn't make any sense. Make the corners do their work. He is faster than almost every corner in the league.

I don't think he gets by Jerry Jones to tell you the truth at #28. As much as everyone has the Cowboys going edge rusher most of the edge rushers at the bottom of the 1st round are OLB's. Ross on the opposite side of the big Dez Bryant would be bigley.

Why wouldn't he fit? he could be across from Antonio Brown. Biggest weakness On O last year was the number 2 WR.

For me it is just a injury concern, and like you said he would be drafted before 30 more than likely.

But as a fit? He would be what Bryant was before he decided to focus in on the wacky weed.

And I am not so sure any one is confident that he can make it through a season without being popped again.

Then that leaves you with the same problem as what helped them come up short last year. The lack of a number consistent number 2.

Would rather have one of the edge guys in the first and Godwin in the second.

He won't last. But even if he did not sure we shouldn't go OLB if a good one is still available?

Oh boy...Dri Deux

LOL. Um No.
Ross is an instant-impact weapon who scored 23 touchdowns in just 112 touches. He should be able to step right in as a kick returner and a slot receiver, but teams with speed at tight end might utilize him outside to create extreme vertical stress on opposing safeties. If his knees check out as healthy, Ross is a likely first-round pick with the rare ability to become a high-volume slot receiver or a lesser-targeted, high-yield deep-ball threat.

The truth is the defense was playing better at the end of the year, with Heyward injured. Its not the D's fault we have bonehead coaching.

4.22 is insanely fast. If Ross can catch ( Coates has poor hands ), he's an impact rookie on this team, and let's not forget AB for whatever reason is still returning punts

Doubt he's an option at 30 anymore. Hell, Reddick put on a show also and he might be gone at 30. A lot of my sleepers blowing up.

Maybe he is. Which teams need WR's past the 20th pick?

Not sure why everyone is so fascinated with speed at wr. Their is so much more to playing wr than speed. How many combine heroes actually pan out...i would not waste a pick at wr 1st unless we have the next Julio Jones.

Well, that didn't take long.....

No it's the D's fault they didn't execute on the field. Specifically their slot defender.

As for Ross, before you anoint him ROY, remember he has had injury issues, and we had a one trick pony before. Name was Wallace, and he was replaced in this offense.

Will Fuller went 21st and Ross blew him out of the water with his 40, bj, and vertical. I'm think his sweet spot is 12-14 with Browns, Cards, and Eagles all picking in a row.

I want edge rusher in the first and Godwin in the second as well.. But to be honest, after his combine performance, I'm questioning if Godwin will even be available to us in the FIRST
