The deaths typically take several days to be processed, so a single date’s totals can slowly grow days later and the day-by-day increases appear smaller at first.

The batch of 1,296 deaths reported Thursday is shy of the record 1,338 added the previous Thursday. Another 1,064 deaths were reported in the CDC’s data Monday.

To Steeltime's point, Florida has NEVER had anywhere CLOSE to 1,296 deaths in a damned day. The highest total of deaths came in wave 3 (they have had 3) and it was 330 Deaths. Which is four ******* times less than the bullshit you spew.

Like Twitter and Facebook and YouTube, you should be banned for spreading misinformation. Because unlike many of their victims, you truly do.

Unpossible, Tim. That graph of misinformation shows Florida Covid deaths plummeting almost as fast as Ice Cream Boy's popularity, but we all know the white supremacist governor is releasing Covid in minority neighborhoods and killing people with the Chinese, uhh, Covid.

I hope you are right. 7 day averages have dropped 10% nationwide this past week.

What concerns me is the spread. It's declining in areas that were hit really hard in the lower mid south (LA, MS, AR, MO, MS).

But the spread north concerns me.

A month ago, the massive red hot spot concentration was where the black circle is. We did not see the hotspots where they are now in IN, OH, PA, etc.

Other areas haven't seen a true Delta wave, especially west of the MS. Will they like all states got hit with the original version of the virus? I'm hoping not.

Also there are a couple percentage points of tge population who are medically ineligible to receive either the mRNA or the Adenovirus vaccine due to complications from immune deficiencies or other serious illnesses where doctors don’t feel safe allowing them to take them……..and of course the lucky ******** that are allergic to one specific item in each type of vaccine…. I forget what those are, but each is a real allergy…

the first group also coincidentally are most likely to be hospitalized and most susceptible to death…. Its great that they lump that group in with the regular unvaccinated….

Well gee seems to me if we are over 18 months in and there is no data showing any significant numbers of reinfections, durability is pretty damn good.

But I'm no scientist.
