Covid Vaccine

You stupid tool. Discuss the topic, the content of the study. Stop attempting to minimize all sources that go against your biases and weight them based on content. You're habitually really bad at this.

medRxiv (pronounced "med-archive") is an Internet site distributing unpublished eprints about health sciences.[1][2][3][4] It distributes complete but unpublished manuscripts in the areas of medicine, clinical research, and related health sciences without charge to the reader. Such manuscripts have yet to undergo peer review and the site notes that preliminary status and that the manuscripts should not be considered for clinical application, nor relied upon for news reporting as established information.

You...you...who have presented non-peer-reviewed data. Now have an issue with it. Selective outrage.

Medical studies and the process behind them are sort of like development of medicine. They go through stages.

Every "peer reviewed" accepted study was a "non-peer reviewed study" first. The studies are still conducted by medical professionals, researchers, scientists - duly more qualified than any of us on these topics.

We have provided you STUDIES - peer reviewed, non-peer reviewed. HUNDREDS. We have provided you interviews, articles. We have provided you national studies like Israel. We have given you CDC data here, CDC data from Europe.

You dismiss every single study, piece of research or medical finding that doesn't confirm your bias. 100% of it. Outright dismiss it.

Just stop. Besides being pathetic, you look pathetic now.

Filthy rich 1%-er makes flippant, selfish decision to flush $15M down the toilet cause he doesn't wanna abide by the rules. Next.

ps - why do you hate black people? Who cares if Irving is black or white? Why is that so important to you?
I dont hate black people any more or less than I hate white people.

I pointed out that Kyrie is black and is making a decision for himself. Yes, he might be filthy rich, and flushing $15 mil down the toilet might not be much to his net worth, but its more than many of us will make in a lifetime.

its important since, apparently you're not paying attention, the black population has historically been less than embracing of the goobermint telling them to take shots. But, apparently you're not up to date on Tuskegee.

Wait, you just listed all the states and split them in two, who’s slicing and dicing?

The inverse relationship between vaccination and rates is obvious, Tim. Tibs is right, you’re losing it. Thou protests way too much.

Apple Orange? Non-applicable to this discussion? I looked at all states. The country, as a case study. There is no pattern whatsoever in the least supporting your theory. I've already destroyed this. Booster shots are coming because...I...am...correct.

You've been stuck on this state or that state. Individual states, which you change weekly. Now you are asking to DIVIDE the population of A state. Because your argument is and has been crumbling.

Inverse relationship LOL. You don't even understand inverse. An inverse relationship would show all of the most vaccinated states have the least # of cases and it would look like this.

1634139201940.png

But that's not how it distributes when sorted by Cases per 100K. Nope. Not even close to inverse. Nearly FIFTY PERCENT of states with the fewest cases are UNVAXXED.

Here's what the whole DB looks like sorted by MOST CASES per 100K, top to bottom. Follow the colors Floggy. Are all of the green, most vaccinated states at the bottom of the chart where they should be if the vax works? Nope, green states all over the chart. Inverse relationship. What this shows is there really isn't one. It supports that the vaccines are about 60% effective.

Try again.

Pretty much what I say - I don’t think I’d want a medical professional who was against the Covid vaccine to be involved in my medical treatment.
You should be free to make that decision for yourself, but have no right to make it for others. See how that works?

OK, so on episode #1717 of The Joe Rogan Experience is Alex Berenson.
It JUST posted late yesterday.
Over THREE hours of discussing COVID and the Vaccine.
Alex brings FACTS.
He was perma-banned from Twitter for posting FACTS.
This is a fascinating listen.
Can't recommend enough.
It is NOT a love fest, either.
They both challenge each other on several points.

But you'd probably be fine with a medical professional who believes in 64 genders treating your child, prescribing hormone therapy and possible genital mutilation.

Says it all right there.
“Oh, oh, oh… 64 genders, child genital mutilation!!!”

Seek help.

At some point you and Trog should contemplate why there are only two or three of you who follow your line of thinking. And by "line of thinking" I mean the narrative that is being spoon fed to you ******* mental toddlers. The rest of us read what you post to back up your statements and try to better understand your points, even from losers named Jeff who make idiotic simpleton points. (Thanks for that laugh BTW. Holy ****, that will be Steelernation Lore for a very long time. ) But you and Trog don't have the mental capacity to do the same. Every single time you get put into a corner with facts you deflect and meme.

Oh the irony, right? Persistently attacking others' sources so as not to have to debate the content, now posting Wikipedia as some source of truth.

**** ya can't make up.

Sums it up perfectly. 🎯

Bullshit. Science is on the side of those who won’t be mandated into taking a vaccine of this type and for this virus. Politics not science are behind the mandates. So ******* sick of science be ignored by those saying to follow it. You have been given source after source after source from respected doctors and scientists that don’t back the mandates yet you ignore them because their science doesn’t agree with your religion of fear. Sounds familiar huh?

Holy ****, it's been years now, and you guys have yet to come up with one single meme that has even an ounce of humor or creativity in it.

“Oh, oh, oh… 64 genders, child genital mutilation!!!”

Seek help.

And....that's all ya got. No substance. Won't acknowledge that science has been politicized and has lost trust and will take decades to recover, if it ever does.

Your side, the 64-genders of science, the science that says a fetus isn't a life...is "science as an institution." It's not true science. Thus the phrase.

It's what your side rests on...institutional science. Politicized, twisted science.

‘Science” has become a political catchword. “I believe in science,” Joe Biden tweeted six days before he was elected president. “ Donald Trump doesn’t. It’s that simple, folks.”

But what does it mean to believe in science? The British science writer Matt Ridley draws a pointed distinction between “science as a philosophy” and “science as an institution.” The former grows out of the Enlightenment, which Mr. Ridley defines as “the primacy of rational and objective reasoning.” The latter, like all human institutions, is erratic, prone to falling well short of its stated principles. Mr. Ridley says the Covid pandemic has “thrown into sharp relief the disconnect between science as a philosophy and science as an institution.”

Mr. Ridley notes that the question of Covid’s origin has “mostly been tackled by people outside the mainstream scientific establishment.” People inside not only have been “disappointingly incurious” but have tried to shut down the inquiry “to protect the reputation of science as an institution.” The most obvious reason for this resistance: If Covid leaked from a lab, and especially if it developed there, “science finds itself in the dock.”

But there’s a “tension between scientists wanting to present a unified and authoritative voice,” on the one hand, and science-as-philosophy, which is obligated to “remain open-minded and be prepared to change its mind.” Mr. Ridley fears “that the pandemic has, for the first time, seriously politicized epidemiology.” It’s partly “the fault of outside commentators” who hustle scientists in political directions. “I think it’s also the fault of epidemiologists themselves, deliberately publishing things that fit with their political prejudices or ignoring things that don’t.”

Epidemiologists are divided between those who want more lockdowns and those who think that approach wasn’t effective and might have been counterproductive. Mr. Ridley sides with the latter camp, and he’s dismissive of the alarmist modeling that led to lockdowns in the first place. “The modeling of where the pandemic might go,” he says, “presents itself as an entirely apolitical project. But there have been too many cases of epidemiologists presenting models based on rather extreme assumption.”

One motivation: Pessimism sells. “You don’t get blamed for being too pessimistic, but you do get attention. It’s like climate science. Modeled forecasts of a future that is scary is much more likely to get you on television.”
Mr. Ridley invokes Michael Crichton, the late science-fiction novelist, who hated the tendency to describe the outcomes of models in words that imply they are the “results” of an experiment. That frames speculation as if it were proof.

Climate science is already far down the road to politicization. “Twenty or 30 years ago,” Mr. Ridley says, “you could study how the ice ages happened and discuss competing theories without being at all political about it.” Now it’s very hard to have a conversation on the subject “without people trying to interpret it through a political lens.”

The politicization of science leads to a loss of confidence in science as an institution. The distrust may be justified but leaves a vacuum, often filled by a “much more superstitious approach to knowledge.”

“Conformity,” Mr. Ridley says, “is the enemy of scientific progress, which depends on disagreement and challenge. Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts, as [the physicist Richard] Feynman put it.” Mr. Ridley reserves his bluntest criticism for “science as a profession,” which he says has become “rather off-puttingly arrogant and political, permeated by motivated reasoning and confirmation bias.” Increasing numbers of scientists “seem to fall prey to groupthink, and the process of peer-reviewing and publishing allows dogmatic gate-keeping to get in the way of new ideas and open-minded challenge.”

Keep quoting "The Science." Everyone...literally every single person, is not only right to question everything labeled "the science" - but should do so. Because we are increasingly not being given the truth, we are being fed politicized science.

It's truly breathtaking that this is the hill so many of you are willing to die on. I obviously mean that *figuratively,* before any of you Karens get your panties in a bunch.

Reading this board is downright shocking. How willing you are to piss in the wind, go against the grain, to achieve some whimsical, unreachable moral victory in your own minds. The anti-mask, anti-vaccine, covid-crazies are the textbook definition of stubborn & dumb as ****. Sorry fellas, it is what it is.

You simply can't grasp the most basic, rudimentary aspects of this pandemic, or how to mitigate it. It's simply beyond your comprehension. So you spend days, weeks, months, and now years creating a false world view that somehow suits your needs.

To nobody's surprise, it's the same group that also believes the 2020 elections were stolen. Went from one fallacy to another in one fell swoop.

Can't say I envy you guys. It must be difficult to live this way. But to each his own. Onward and upward! You'll crack this Covid mystery all on your own, with your tinfoil hats, your boatloads of stats & graphs and nifty internet research. Go get 'em!

What miserable **** ***** gerbil-stuffer would whine to a moderator about some comment being a supposed "threat" to a guy in Hungary?

Seriously, how jelly-legged and flaccid would a dipshit have to be for such a complaint??

Science says masks don't do a damn thing to prevent the contraction or spread of the Chinese flu.

Science says natural immunity >> vaccine.

Science says vaccine waning, disturbingly so, which is not surprising given it is a brand new vaccine.

So who's anti-science, Tibilo? Polish a shiny surface and look into it for the answer.

FTFY

Says the guy huddled in his studio apartment, wrapped in plastic, wearing three masks and drinking toilet water to avoid any public interaction and protect himself from the plague that kills approximately 0.01% of healthy adults ages 18-55.
