For what I’ve seen and heard..If he can do half of what Elliott did on running plays we'll take it. Teams will still pass all over us, but at least it's something.
He should be just as physical as Elliot in the box and on run blitzes..

You are welcomeHay Slasher, btw, thank you for the nice Steeler stuff for winning the Bengal prediction. Added to my office with my other Steeler stuff.
He was being paid starter money as a backup after the latest coaching changes. Pats got the Steelers to take his contract off their hands, then immediately signed another Safety off another team’s practice squad.Great, he fits righr in to the much over-hyped and over-paid Tomlin mess or defense.
Why would the Patriots help the Steelers with a good player since they both could be fighting for a wildcard spot in the end. The guy wasn’t even a starter any longer.
He is due $17 & $18 million for 26 & 27. Haven’t seen anything about NE eating anything .Nope
This is totally incorrect according to this. NE eating pretty much everything. He is due $17 & $18 million for 26 & 27. Haven’t seen anything about NE eating anything .
It won’t be hard to assimilate to the defenseFor what I’ve seen and heard..

Ok. Looks like he agreed to a trade and contract restructuring which allows him to become a FA in 26.This is totally incorrect according to this. NE eating pretty much everything.
Is this the guy with 19 kids or is he one of the 19 kids?
Steelers had to do something as they were down to two fit safeties (Peppers is currently carrying an injury), and if they move Jalen Ramsey to safety as some here have advocated it would leave them thin at cornerback. Dugger was probably the least bad option available. No harm but likely no real benefit.

So this appears to be almost a nothingburger. If he plays favorably they can try and sign him longterm.
Glass half broken I see heheheIt’s a lose lose
He will play like crap if he’s even capable of hopping on the moving field to suck out loud on the field with the rest of these chump defenders, the band aid will fall off the blood gushing bullet wound quite quickly…it won’t stick and things of that nature.
If the unthinkable happened and he played decent he moves on to a different team to get paid, luckily this won’t happen and he’ll suck like the men before him as the scheme sucks.
The best news of the deal is they only moved from the 6th to the 7th for this waste of space
If only they had some more money to spend of defensive playersSteelers had to do something as they were down to two fit safeties (Peppers is currently carrying an injury), and if they move Jalen Ramsey to safety as some here have advocated it would leave them thin at cornerback. He was on the injury report as questionable last time I looked (on ESPN).Anybody heard the rumor that now Peppers is out Sunday too? Can’t say where I heard….. don’t know if it’s against Justin’s rules.
So curious what everyone’s thoughts are…. Was losing him (I know there was little splash lately) worth the acquisition of a 20th TE for the team and Ramsey, don’t forget the picks we originally gave up for him years ago?Miami has this guy names Mincah. Not using him properly.
Fitz did basically nothing with the Steelers the last few seasons. Scheme or no scheme,he wasn’t producing no matter where they put him. The only time he seemed to make the stat sheet was a tackle after giving up a big pass.So curious what everyone’s thoughts are…. I'm fine with it. Fitzpatrick was overpaid given his lack of production. Ramey has had ups and downs, but has been decent and made key plays in a couple of wins. None of our receiving options are doing much and it appears Arthur Smith doesn't know what to do with Jonnu. So curious what everyone’s thoughts are…. I get why the Steelers took JPJ beyond nepotism (which was likely the main reason). CB is more valuable than S and I doubt Branch would've realized his potential here. That is the theme with talented draft picks on this team.Fitz did basically nothing with the Steelers the last few seasons. Scheme or no scheme,he wasn’t producing no matter where they put him. This is not me saying what they replaced him with is anything better. I’ve wanted them to spend a top 2-3 pick on a safety for years now. I still think they should have taken Brian Branch.
I’ve had this discussion before with another poster. The safety is not as valuable discussion. Troy P. Disagrees.I'm fine with it. Fitzpatrick was overpaid given his lack of production. It’s funny too, cause I was under the impression he was the one who had to have him everywhere he coachesArthur Smith doesn't know what to do with Jonnu.
