Fire McCarthy

Dan Looney’s hire of McCarthy who looks like John Candy!
This guy looks like he has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.
Is he even going to survive the next five years?
Trust me, Im not trying to be mean here but Mike does not look too healthy and should seriously consider concentrating on his weight and health.
When a person reaches mid fifties early sixtys they must be conscious of their weight and overall health.
This is a highly stressful job and these older coaches really need to be in better condition.
No I don’t like the hire but I like the man and don’t want to see him have any health issues.

I thought the same thing. He is only a few years older than me, too. Makes me wonder if people look at me and think my show might get cancelled any moment.

Andy Reid is several years older than McCarthy and still at it.......somehow.

Go easy! My opinion of the guy. Im 73 and very conscious of my health and weight.
Im not saying he's a bad guy, on the contrary. Sure he is a very nice guy,just think he looks very unhealthy.

Andy’s life has been made much easier by having Patrick Mahomes.
Big Mike looks even bigger than Andy and he has Will Howard. That should make him feel better.

True, but there is also additional pressure to win when you have a QB like Mahomes, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. John Harbaugh and Sean McDermott know that all too well.

I imagine NFL HC is among the most stressful jobs imaginable, regardless of the roster one has.

I simply will not allow myself to buy into more of this Rooney bullshit.
This franchise has been broken for some time now and it all starts with feckless Art Rooney II.
He held on to a HC far too long and was willing to run it back another year with him.
When he had a chance to reset the organization he hires a retread that’s three years older than Chuck Noll when he retired.
This is not what the franchise needed at this time. It needed rebuilt and with a young, innovative coordinator like Klint Kubiak.
I’m not buying in any longer when it sure seems like all Rooney is interested in is staying above the mean.
