Obviously, there will be a very different “Voice” heard at St.Vincent this year.

I think you are going to hear a more detailed / Xs & Os / higher demand on correctness / better implementation amongst other things that will be different from year’s past.

I have always enjoyed DK’s analysis and breakdown. Good listen Drink!
I think with McCarthy we’re going to see more attention to detail and more of an all business approach than the last guy.
 
Looking forward to this season like I haven’t been in quite a while. I would have followed and cheered if the status quo remained but I was so tired of expecting and experiencing the same old predictable inevitable crap.
 
I dont think Tomlin was capable of getting tge required talent at assistant and coordinator positions. I realize McCarthy calls the plays but the OC and QB coach both sound football impressive to me. Been awhile since I thought that. Defense is pretty straight forward. Good leader, ok scheme, communication and effort goes a long ways. On offense you need schematics, precision, fine detail and everyone on same page.

Because with very few exceptions, like when the front office did the hiring for him with Todd Haley and Arthur Smith, Shades only hired his friends and people he worked with before.

I wonder if MM is going to cut off his eyelids, or paint the barn red? Probably not.

I look forward to actually listening to the press conferences now that I don't have to vomit through the verbal diarrhea.

Yep accomplishing these tasks by focusing on the specific drills and zeroing in on up tempo simultaneously.

So he wants this team highly conditioned, on the same page and reps distributed in a manner that promotes thorough distribution of.

We'll have to see what we have with the two youngsters.
If Big Mac gets to 11 wins (Shades was 10-7 each of the last three seasons) and/or wins a playoff game, the Tomlin Fan Club will be ******** bricks.
It'll be worth it just to see that.

Seriously, I hope it all works out. I was ready for a long overdue change. It'll be interesting to see if he can make something out of this bunch. Seems like just yesterday we were watching game 1 of AR at QB. Where did the last year go?
