Most knew at 4-2 that the Ravens were still the favorites by a decent margin when looking at the remaining schedules and realizing the fortunate breaks the Steelers were getting.

They need the ball to bounce their way every week and play against backups to have a chance at contending for even a WC…sad

Unfortunately, the way I read the 'tea leaves', there is no shot for two AFC North teams to make the playoffs. The AFC West will take most remaining spots and maybe two from the AFC East when all said and done.

Unfortunately, the way I read the 'tea leaves', there is no shot for two AFC North teams to make the playoffs. The AFC West will take most remaining spots and maybe two from the AFC East when all said and done.

If this team can’t win the division with all the advantages they were given they sure as hell don’t need another round of barely slipping in as a WC to get tuned up by whatever opponent they face.

Although the Tomlin losing streak is impressive missing the playoffs and getting to the offseason quicker would be better than one more embarrassing exclamation point on yet another futile season.

The AFC NORTH has been the toughest division on a regular basis. It was common to put two in the playoffs and has put three in more than any other division in football.

Alas, the Tomlinization of this franchise will diminish that accolade.
