If they brought him in to sit him that would be brutal for the player that

A) wants to finish his career playing not watching this year
B) wanted to finish his career contending for a title

Tomlin can’t really help with B, but he can at least let the ole fella play before being put out to pasture

I wonder if Marshawn Lynch or Ladanian Tomlinson is available to help spark the run game?
Both guys with pedigree that are old enough to ride in the clown car.

Actually we are trying to get Jerome Bettis out of the Pizza Hut buffet long enough to get him to sign.
 
LOL...at the 1:00 minute mark he is so close to saying it. It's obvious where they need #2 help. And really, he kind of does say it.
 
What's Swann and Stallworth doing next Sunday? I'm sure Hines has a few plays left. I'm pretty sure Santonio can get his toes down on those sideline throws they love so dearly.

They knew how to tackle back in those days. As far as today's Steelers go, I wouldn't care if they had a losing record so long as they did the fundamentals right and you know, tackle. I'd also appreciate it if they just went about their business and not make a big deal about getting a first down, interception, sack, etc. Spike the ball after a TD or hand the ball to the ref and get ready for the next play. Make it look like you've done it before....Those days are gone though.

Reminds me of that 1st down celebration of Chase ClayPUFF. It’s all about the individual and not the team. That chemistry has been dissolved at our factory of purgatory, many moons ago.

If he adds any more of a threat, or even cause the D to pay more attention to him than freakin Roman Wilson. I mean Wilson is wide open because defenses know he rarely gets the ball, and is not a big threat if he does. Thielen at least has pedigree and would demand somebody to take a look at where he is anyway. To be fair, I should have given option A. Wilson
B. Austin
C. J Smith
D. fill in your own practice squad receiver that is on active roster.. :)
