We win if:
A. The Rats lose to the Packers
(Steelers are 9-6, the lowest they can finish is 9-8, they are 7-8, so another loss means baltimore cant finish higher than 8-9 with another loss)

B. Steelers Beat the Browns
(Lowest record would be 10-7 , the Ravens finish 9-8 if they won out)

C. Steelers beat Baltimore week 18
even if the steelers lose vs the browns and the Ravebs win vs the pack, they would still be one game back of us-and need this win to beat us. They do have the tiebreaker though...

The Steelers lose vs the Browns and Ravens
 
If head to head is the first tiebreaker btw two teams The Steelers would qualify for the last playoff spot if Indy loses to 49ers and I believe Jax.
 
You got Texas, Chargers and Bills for wild card.
Chargers and Bills have 11 wins, Texas has 10. It’s division champ or nothing because if we lose the division, it means we stay at 9 wins. Indy could end up with ten wins and Texas stays at 10 but I don’t know who has tiebreaker between those two.

Ravens v Packers is the day before Steelers v Cleveland, so if Ravens lose, Steelers are already AFC North champions the day before they play,.

Yes you are correct. I believe I was looking at the 'in the hunt' which is Baltimore and the Colts. I missed the fact that all those non division winners are locked ahead. As the kids say ' My Bad'

I want the team to go into the playoffs winning and cohesive. This team is not good enough to pretend they can sit around and turn on a light switch.
 
Beat the Clowns, and they can rest a few guys for the Ratbirds game. I'm not a fan of Tomlin resting guys, as they have come out even slower to start games than normal.

agreed, but if means nothing and they decide to sit players. I think they should try to keep their momentum, but if Baltimore loses I have a feeling we'll rest players.
 
If the Ravens lose Saturday, I would run the ball at Garrett all day, pass when we line up Washington on his stride with instructions to double him. Keep him from breaking the sack record against us. They gave him a half sack yesterday after the game was over, it’s such B.S., Allen fell near the goal line, Cleveland DT Graham scrambled from the ground clearly got to Allen first and was on him while Allen was still on the ground. Garrett like a lizard slithered over and touched Allen, the play was clearly over. They gave Graham the sack as it should have been. Changed it later to split the sack.
 
Ratbirds lose to GB, in Green Bay on Saturday, making both of our games irrelevant. Will Howard get's two starts under his belt.

Garrett does break the single season sack record, unfortunately, but he will do it in CLE.

Yep and remember they took a sack away from Watt the year he tied Strahan, I think against Baltimore, I can't remember why they said it wasn't a sack but it was a ridiculous reason.

If Green bay beat the Ravens, getting a free two weeks look at Howard us exactly what they should do. Mike Tomlin would never do that in a Million years.
 
Rest or not to rest, the deeper “need rest” players could play a shortened Cleveland game.

the majority of the core players could rest the ravens game.


Someone said Will Howard………. I’ don’t think tom Lin goes the way of starting him. I’d like to see some of him though. At minimum maybe the whole 4th quarters.

I believe it was Jackson dropped back to pass, fumbled the ball, grabbed it and took a step or two forward, Watt sacked him. They took it away saying Jackson was now a runner, thus tackle for loss, no sack. Not to mention they took a half sack away I believe on another call.
 
I read that Lamar Jackson after Sunday nights game was complaining of a sore back. That could be huge.
Also, I believe Packers’Jordan Love suffered a concussion in the Bears game.
Could be a game between two backups!
 
I hope the Ravens win Sat. I don't want the Steelers resting guys too early. I hope they win and of course the Steelers clinch it on Sunday.
