After re-watching the falcons game

The starting offense just can not be stopped

I didn't know what to expect last year as I saw Kenny improve down the stretch. But still it left you wanting more. To see more.

Fast forward to present day I still don't know where he tops off. Still can't help but to be cautiously excited.

The guy never seemed shaken or stirred. He seems like things have slowed down for him. That he is ready to take that second year jump. I don't know how high, but that is ok. I am ready for the journey. The game to game cut my eye lids off obviously and things of that nature.

The person on this board (I think he was a moderator) who accused those that wanted the Steelers to draft Pickett only because he went to Pitt can go **** themselves!

Kenny is going to be fine. I do not know why this young man has gotten so much disrespect since leaving Pitt but he’s going to prove these doubters wrong once again.
He’s got good size, strong enough arm, very good accuracy and getting better, a chemistry with his boys now, and good pocket awareness. Seems to see the field well too.
And the one thing I’ve always liked and admired about him…. He’s dedicated to his craft and wants to be great therefore he works extremely hard.

I sure agree here Coolie. I couldn’t see the game yesterday,just finished watching it on YouTube. and not for the first time this pre season I go ......damn that #50 is a ******* great addition to our D. What a difference he is going to make.

he has played well

there are some highlights posted in the thread below


Lots of tweets of him killing it in practice especially when they went head up against the dolphins a couple of days

he sat out the second game, he went out for warm ups then changed to street clothes, word is he had some hamstring tightness but all is well

Why not, they seem to let everyone else in these days. Joe Kleco last year whom I like but he only had a couple really special seasons, now it’s Randy Gradishar and Steve McMichaels both really solid players but come on, HOF?
I hope Tank has a great career and some day lands in the HOF. I also hope they come to their senses and get Andy Russell and LC Greenwood in there. They deserve before the three I mentioned earlier.
I know y’all remember LC and he was very special but Russell I remember back in the 60’s when the Steelers sucked and he was like Jack Ham, a great LBer. Very much the tactician never making mistakes and all over the field. He was one of the few Chuck kept when he took over in 69.

He made a change from they should know this stuff when they get here kinda mentality. Now he's focused on doing fundamentals exceptionally well. Bravo.

As I've mentioned in the past the Steelers have everything they will ever need in house. Chuck Noll was all about doing the ordinary things extraordinarily well.

Some things never change and that's fundamentals. Precision kills.

Hopefully this is the year I see that well oiled machine.

i'd agree and add that the last obstacle the O needs to overcome is the coaching staff. After they defeat the offensive coordinator, Matt Canada and HC, Mike Tomlin, the O can lift the team to a championship.
