I don't have any "real" input on the topic; but, I do have a mini-comparison...

Last year, my middle daughter's science teacher (public school here in Orange Park), made a public statement that "the creation story is a farce and students cannot use it as a basis for their thesis statements because evolution IS the only way the Earth came into existence as well as it's inhabitants"...

Long story short - teachers are going to have their own opinions and try to force it on our kids. We, as parents, need to ensure we're teaching our kids the "facts" at home so that they cannot be bamboozled over such buffoonery...
