Has he been snatched up yet? He seemed to do well with Trubisky or is he just way out of our $$$ range?
 
Internet says he should get around a 4 year 60 to 65 mil contract. Also looking for a team that does not have sub-par / inconsistent QB play like he had with JAX and CHI...
 
Steelers have bigger needs. CB and SS.

He had his lowest statistical season. The type you might want to see if he bounces back but not at 4 years 65million.

We can think all we want but when there is obvious doubt involved you don't throw a boat load of money out.

I'm not saying we throw that money at him, point is he still has history of producing with bad QB play. The Bears 2021 QB situation and that staff are not good at all so I get why he had that season. Overall the Steelers are not in play since they do not have the QB's or good OC.

Way to much money when we still have to sign DJ.. I'm thinking we don't FA a WR but we do draft one high 2-3rd round.

Think they could bring back JuJu for less, and if that’s the case I’d go with JuJu over Robinson. No need for older retreads at WR.
 
The Steelers have more pressing needs in the secondary and DL. You can get a really good WR in 2nd round of the draft.

I agree that the Steelers need to sign DJ... After that our WR's are unspectacular or game changers, upgrades are needed. Mitch will need help from the OL and WR's.

You are absolutely right on JuJu. He has that toughness factor but he does need help with someone drawing the double team. I see DJ doing just that and with our new and iproved Chase Claypool he too will draw attention. I see all three drawing attention just not all on the same play. It will be up to are starting QB to identify that or even the TE use and make those throws. BEN was very successful in that regards so hopefully our OL can give the new starter just some more time to read and make the throw..

If our OL isn't much improved over last year (I think it will be easily top 20 but more like top 15) it won't atter who is back there.

But if he isn't there then i wouldnt be pissed about the big ole Arkansas kid, Burks.

Steelers need real threats - either from pass rush or at WR.
Need em bad.

I want a WR different from what we have preferably a burner and route runner Olave in 1 or Skyy for me in 2.
 
If Olave is there at 20 I jump all over that and a guy like Velus Jones with his speed and return abilities steps in for Ray Ray.

Only if Davis and Wyatt are off the board.
 
Couldnt even imagine how explosive Allen, Olave & Claypool would be.

Only thing left to do would be to turn off Canada's headset during each game and we'd run deep into the playoffs.
 
J. Davis scares me a bit.

Many has been a man that came out of college ball being a relatively great athlete and complete monster of a man at over 6'6"/ 350 lbs -- only to be completely enveloped by almost all other NFL lineman during their career.

Laundry lists of disappointment in this department.
