Don’t look now but AB is on Joe Rogan wearing an Army helmet.

Nothing wrong with deadlifting if you use the right tool for the job. A ton of top tier boxing programs use the trap Bar. That centers the weight in the middle of the body. I switched years ago from conventional deadlift to trap bar just to be a little on the safe side.

I was getting up to around 660-675 for 3-5 without any fear or issues. No weight belt either. Of course my core and back are very strong.

Great tool for total power.

Oh and AB is either acting or is off his rocker..lol.

He sounded coherent when he was talking about working out, the rest of the time no so much.

Why interview a crazy man?

That guys is sick. At this point you start feeling bad

NOT at all, sign the dipshit for vet minimum,………………. He’d be a starter here.

Any shlitsizzle, make it known to him up front, he will be sizzles with the O’l RED HOT POKER !!!!

Salute the nation

The guy interviewing him is also nuts and the social media platform they both are talking about is owned by another nut. It all works out.
Well, he's interviewed Mike Tyson and Elon Musk while all parties were smoking weed. They kept the joints off-camera but you could see the smoke.
I don't know that AB needs to be smoked up.
Rogan's interview with Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of the greatest pieces of podcast journalism ever. Talking about his dad and the head injuries that forced him to retire from racing. I'm a NASCAR fan but I had no idea it was that bad for him. It's well worth watching if you have three hours sometime.

All the power lifters had their shins with tore up skin on them; did not entice me to join that club.

It's not that big of a deal after a while. Just like Muay Thai. You get desensitized on the shin bone and the bone gets very thick and strong over many years of impact to it.

There's a certain amount of pain you must endure to reach that level.

Yea, I know a lot of the power lifters wore their tore up shins as a badge of honor: always bleeding etc. It just didn't matter that much to me to be one of those guys. I just didn't care about deadlifting.

It's not for everyone. I've done both.
