Anyone else?

So he was probably overjoyed because it really bailed him out on this

Lets look at it objectively
They won...
But it came on a missed field goal from 44 yards out
And from a kicker who hadnt missed from under 50 yards all season.. while there had been some freaky wind gusts... there was no discernible wind during that kick...
In general, kickers make around 80% of kicks in that range... and most misses have a bad snap or hold or kicker slip attached to it, or it is blocked... pure missed shots are a rarity.

The attempt came after a bad return and yet another in a long line of critical 4th down failures on Defense...

That also came after two separate blown 4th quarter leads..

But The O that looked so good attacking that pathetic D of baltimore late inexcusably started slow for the 65th game in a row...

And most damning, the Head coach went for it on 4th and 2 from his own 45 yard line... then even worse called for a tush push.. on 4th and 2...
That play has an mid 80's% success rate for gaining one yard... its way less effective at 2... he punts there and the ravens dont get a gift 40 yard field goal...

At the half... when he knows he is getting the ball after the half, he opted to go for it with 2 seconds left with maybe the dumbest play call of the game

Taking the 3 points was the correct play there

If not, running the tush push was acceptable
Instead we completely hacked that up...

So we surrendered six points with coaching gaffs and by the grace of God didnt lose by 1..

Tomlin ought to be stoked like crazy he isnt up on that podium answering questions about why he blew that game with really bad decisions...

Does anyone else find it extremely embarrassing when we have to see Tomlin blowing kisses into the TV camera and pounding his chest to let tell everyone, “look at me.” He does this **** after almost every win now. You just won the game by a missed FG and that is your natural instinct? Show a little humility and professionalism. Dudes been a HC for 20 years and he feels the need to let everyone know “I’m the man” instead of celebrating with the team.

Can anyone name me coaches who have run up to the TV camera and done this ****. College or NFL. I can’t name a single one.

I was excited for the win last night the I see that **** and I remembered why I didn’t care if we lost the game. Tomlin’s actions are different than his words, they always have been. He plays humble but this dudes ego is massive.
I'm with you man. It's a bit more annoying than embarrassing to me, though. The guy has won over 200 NFL games. Act like you've been there before.

Two blown kisses in the last three weeks. Zero playoff wins in almost nine years. 'Nuff said.

Probably same for Lloyd too.
I was pretty sure Lloyd was cooch. They had the same writing tendencies. Same dislikes, same ignorant stances.

I think they all have left us. I don’t wish bad on anyone but don’t miss them. If I did I would back up and try again (kidding).

😅

That's his way of saying F off because people were actually questioning if he should be the coach still, it's annoying and embarrassing. Two blown kisses after beating non playoff teams.

Yup. You’d think he be a little bit humble after his secondary got torched like that and a kicker shanking a kick to avoid ending his season. If they’d dominated wire to wire it might be slightly more forgivable

What the chest pounding and kiss blowing translates to me is that he intends to be the HC here for a much longer time and has zero intention of doing anything significantly different in his approach to the game, and he knows his owner is fully on board with all of it

yep that's pretty much it. Humble is the one word he doesn't know.

You know the puffy chest moron will be doing the discount double check application of the title belt to his waist should the Steelers find a way to beat the Texans…among other over the top celebrations as well.

He acts like a guy who has never been there

Well it's been so long, he probably forgets.

I know I sure have forgotten what it’s like.

If the unthinkable happens, which I have a feeling it will with this team of destiny, I’m not sure how I will react.

Would love to see a playoff victory but I have a feeling it comes with 3 fresh years tacked onto an extension for the GOAT.

Is 4 more years worth seeing some guys finally get a playoff win??? Doesn’t feel like it

I truly believe that Tomlin knows, and is ready to move on to his life work. However, like most any man, he wants to move on on his terms and with success at the end of his career. I also believe that if the Steelers can get a playoff win, even one win, Tomlin will seriously consider stepping down at the end of this season or end of 2026.

I think that's his way of saying FU to the fans that are either booing him or chanting "Fire Mike Tomlin"

Like I said before, I want to see the Steelers win a playoff game just to see if Tomlin and Rooney flex over it.

1 home playoff blowout loss from a 9-8 division champ team is a better season for Art (we have the hats and shirts to prove it) than an 11-6 season as a 5 seed where the squad strings together a couple road wins…it’s ALL about the $ and revenue from that extra game. Standing on biz Art is.

This home game alone buys Mikey the club option year if he wants it, a win and the extension talks begin because obviously everything is headed in the right direction once again.

Don’t get it twisted. It was the holy water. That’s why they won.

I'm rooting for him to win. He wins

The only guy I want to see extended for one more year IF he wants it,is Rodgers.

He can move on too. He's played well, but everyone said Ben was holding this franchise back at 39, well Rodgers at 42 turning 43 mid season isn't helping us move forward any IMO.

Tomlin will give the standard line about his business is winning football games and they fell short. Rooney will 100% flex over it.

If we can draft a top guy I agree, but likely we can't. If not, one more year of Rodgers and his mentorship on Howard, while getting Howard some playtime could go a long way to seeing what we have without having to overdraft a project again at QB or giving up too much Capital in doing so. If we could really load up the team with our 12 picks, then get a QB for the future next year, they would be in better position, like Ben was.
