Someone posted it a few weeks back. It went back to 2010 and showed how the Ravens get more PI calls their way then any other team in the league, every season..

thanks.

It's not even close.....amazing how many they get. I bet they practice it. lol

Cant say I blame them...but the "timely" calls they get is amazing.

Flacco puts air under the ball and the receivers come back to it. It's a great play and I would absolutely work on it in practice.

i'm just glad that rainbow pass finally came back to bite him in the ***, he's had so many lucky passes over the last couple playoff runs

Football Outsiders charts how many PI calls each quarterback generates as part of their QB rankings.

You can see an example here and just look at history:

The other stat that has been thrown around is something apart of ESPN's QBR rating that's called "Clutch Weighted Expected Points Added on Penalties" (labeled PEN EPA).

Flacco blows that category out of the water over his career:

Beat me to it :)

They are coached to initiate contact... its dirty but a valuable tool for them... its like telling the Wr going over the middle to duck into contact

I hate everytime I hear Flacco has one of the best deep balls in the game when I see him chuck those 5 yard short air balls.

Several years back a local reporter was removed from covering the Ravens as a beat reporter because he twittered about the Ravens wrapping up practice, with the Joe Flacco Pass Interference drills.

The ravens receivers are like soccer players. Every play they put on a a big act and solicit PI penalties.

Harbaugh is far and away the whinniest little ***** in sports. Did you guys see the mic'd up replay of our game with them last week? It was on NFL Network. He was crying about a Steeler player moving the ball, then started bitching about the line judge "moving" the sticks. The line judge told him "Stop being a crybaby". I kid you not, he lost it like a 4 year old crying "Don't call me a crybaby! Don't call me a crybaby! You're a cheater!" It was beyond pathetic.

That should be a NEW rule -- since there are so many other dumb rules -- any player that solicits a PI / roughing penalties should get the flag !!
