Amazon bailing on New York because of AOC is really going to hurt her. She has no defense for that and will get hammered with it throughout the campaign.

Trump didn’t have a chance either. How’d that work out? I think you seriously underestimate how tired America is becoming of the left’s bullshit.

A Dem could win a primary over AOC, but that is a dem lock district, no Republican has a chance.

****, I agree with 21.

I don't know that Trump won many if any hard blue districts. I mean, my county is 2.5-to-1 Dem over GOP and Trump won it but so did McCain and Romney.

Lol I was thinking the same thing when I read 21's comment. Couldn't bring myself to post it though, kudos to you. I think I'll go throw up now.

Eh, a stopped watch is right twice a day.

She is a lovely woman.

Not only a lovely woman who sounds like she's had to work hard for what she's got and is grateful for those opportunities, but a smart political message. I'm already a fan.

If Murray has a shot I might donate $ to help her unseat the Anti American Cortez.

As 21 has stated, she'd have a shot if she switches parties and runs as a Dem. The district is the district. The only way the dimwit bartender gets booted is if Pelosi recruits a democrat to primary her.

That's not the only way she could get booted.

Unfortunately, AWOL's district is hardcore blue. It is unlikely she's unseated by a republican, particularly one who outwardly supports Trump. Keep in mind NY is one of the hardcore bastions of blue. They pretty much own New York and California.

Now if that lady wanted to switch to democrat... I think she'd crush AWOL without even having to look in the rear-view mirror. And at the very least, she is giving any democrat opposer plenty of fire-power to use the same message essentially to oust AWOL.

It's difficult but it is possible. Remember almost nobody voted for AOC. She got less than 17000 total votes in a district with over 200,000 voters. Add that to her poll numbers which are horrible and it is possible. If AOC people stay home and the Rep. can put together a ground game then she has a chance.

Vader, it's AWOL. She hasn't been back to New York since she sent Amazon packin'.

Right. Most sane people would be horrifically embarrassed that their district elected such a socialist nutjob.

You would think. When I first saw the proposals in the Green New Deal, I was actually embarrassed for our country.

I still disagree. Most of NYC would chew their arm off before they'd pull the lever for a Republican no matter how bad the Democrat is. Those folks are still proudly wearing their pink ***** hats.

I understand that but AOC could be seen as undeserving of a vote. They won't vote republican but they may not vote at all. That's what happened when she got elected. If the Rep. can get out some voters and AOC's poll numbers stay the same or worst there is a slight chance. Not probable but possible.

I think this is a good strategy. Run as a Dem, legislate as a Republican.
Dems do it in reverse.

Or even run as an Independent. Either way, she's been terrible for her district (AOC) and her shelf life is gonna be short IMO.

There should be a national strategy in certain infected Dim seats to primary new alternative Dims that reflect the mainstream. If they come from the other party, fine. What is the difference between a communist or a Republican dropping into a Dim district race? AOC did it....
