We have been inculcated by the leftists in 'education' to attach the term 'fascist' to anything they disagree with, which by default is anything to their right. But indeed, the origin of the term lies with Benito himself...

Benito was a socialist first. Then he used thuggery to achieve his ends. The Nazis were socialists. Their name means 'national socialism'. They used thuggery to achieve their ends. Everything Benito and Dolph did and implemented in gubmint was socialist. Left. Hard left.

So, what is antifa's beef with 'fascism'? Antifa is as hard left as you can be. Antifa operates in the identical mode as the 'fascists' they hate. The fascists from whom the word descends were ideologically and functionally identical to the antifa of then and now with one exception - the 'fascists' were socialist and antifa was and is communist. Communism is but one bus stop down on the ride through socialism to oblivion. So why did/do they clash? Who knows. There is little reason among rival mobs.

Move forward nearly a century to the dimwits in scarves who call themselves antifa, and indeed carry their branding and behavior. But who are the 'fascists' they get all worked up about? Certainly not Nazis, however few there are. No, now its whoever makes their pampered little butts sore that draws their ire. They have no Earthly notion what they're doing or what they're 'acting out'. And that is particularly dangerous because they not only have no reasonable boundaries, but no unreasonable boundaries.

I believe their groups are very well organized and take orders from the same powers that be which get the Democrat party to march to the same tune. It's no coincidence that colleges and universities and various forms of media and politicians are so well in tune with whatever the agenda of the year/month/etc. is. It's all organized brilliantly and it would be fascinating to know who is actually pulling all those strings in such perfect synchronization.

Back to Antica, I believe they are all about enforcing the Democrats strongly held belief that power rests with a strong central form of government. They are against states rights and that's something the South (the Confederacy--Anti-Federalists) fought hard to protect.

When you have groups of like minded folks who mainly just want government out of their lives, and more power to the states where the people have more influence, then those folks are deemed racists, etc.. This demoralizs their spirits because they don't want that label, and keeps others from thinking along the same lines even if whatever they are against/for has nothing to do with the oppression of minorities.

If that brand of intimidation fails they bring in the militant arm of the Democratic Party: Antifa. Very odd and hypocritical that these hardcore leftists, carry guns. I thought the left didn't like guns, but that's a whole other discussion.

Agree with all of the above. At the street level the goons seem to be pushing the envelope because the gubmint are *******. So in Oregon they harass citizens at will. Same on college campuses. Same with BLM and Occupy. There is a kind of a brain dead flavor to the mobs, but there seems to be direction from funding. The incidents don't appear to be organic. They live in the best country that has ever existed. What the hell is there to 'protest'? So its starting to look like the beginning of an orchestrated insurgency.

My theory is this. There is an overarching element that manages and drives the dims, the media, the leftist drumbeat in 'education', and the mobs. Each have their functions and need to know. They're all working together on a need to know basis. Some days the dims seem to be the lead dog. On others the media seem to be driving things. 'Education' and 'entertainment' have the long assignment of making people stupid and keeping them angry at anything that isn't left. The mobs are the ones with completely destroyed minds. They're useful as disrupters but not much beyond that. The media do the enforcement.

So far this is a war of words and goons are just a distraction. If an insurgency does indeed arise their violence will need to be countered. I believe the military will step in before it gets out of hand. I believe they're prepared and in position to do just that.

I think the weapons are a reaction to the counter rhetoric they hear - "we have all the guns". None of the people at Stone Mountain appear to have served. A militia would clean them up quickly. But again, I doubt the military would allow it to go that far.

The point of the threat is that these goons are now carrying.

I get the standing up to injustices issue.

But what gets me. This goes for far right and far left groups is they preach against something but share the similar goal in baiting, violent rhetorics, which from a moral perspective makes them feel like they are doing the right thing, but all they are is feeding the flames further into hatred.
