Yes, "losing credibility." What is so hard to understand? What they say and claim is not true. That means loss of credibility. The whole "we don't live in our fears" is opposite of true. It's exactly what they do. That means no credibility. What they claim is the opposite of the truth.Yep. One of the best run franchises in all of sports.
But they've lost ALL credibility.
Did they have credibility from 1933-1972? Did they have credibility in the '80s or '90s when they didn't win anything?
They are having a rough run right now. They probably need to change the way they do some things. But losing credibility?
I don't know, he's lost all credibility, as has his coach, a long, long time ago. The franchise in general has lost all credibility. All. You have to be in deep denial to refute this.
It's another of your typical, over the top statements. To lose ALL credibility the Steelers organization would have consistently field a team that is not competitive, or run the organization financially into the ground or something of that nature.Yes, "losing credibility." We've mostly all realized Pgh's philosophy has needed updated the last 20 years.Interesting tidbit in there that 28 of the last 30 Super Bowl participants have had top ten offenses. Plus the Chiefs last year at #11. Shows how the league paradigm has changed over the last 15 years. And how some coaches' philosophies have been left behind.

Again, they are having a rough run here. They probably have to change the way they do things to come out of it. But that is not losing ALL credibility.s It very much is. What they claim is a lie: "We don't live in our fears." It'
The "very best" run franchises? So, how many playoff games has this "very best run team" franchise won in the last 8 years? I didn't say how many championships, I asked how many playoff games they have won? Now, if you want to say how many "championships" we got to go 17 years? I didn't even ask that. In the 80's or 90's,, they didn't lose all credibility, they didn't proclaim the opposite of what was true: We don't live in our fears. That is precisely what THEY DO. Their coaching is that they live in their fears. That crushes heir credibility.Yep. One of the best run franchises in all of sports.

Here's the problem with some of you guys. You use the word ALL. The Steelers have lost ALL credibility. This loss is ALL on Tomlin. No it is not. Some, yes, but never all. Then, when anyone points that out, well, hell, they are a "Tomlin Apologist." Or whatever. The "very best" run franchises? You said ALL credibility. Have they lost some in that particular area you mention? Sure. But I repeat, you said ALL. They have not lost ALL credibility.I don't know how you can say they haven't lost credibility when what they claim is opposite of the truth. That is the definition of "losing credibility." Tomlin's most oft-said quote is "not living in their fears," but running to ball continually, incessantly and never throwing to the middle of the field IS "living in their fears.
OK, you win. Now what "credibility" have been maintained? You said ALL credibility. Have they lost some in that particular area you mention? Sure. But I repeat, you said ALL. They have not lost ALL credibility.
You stated the organization has lost ALL credibility. That is pretty definitive and encompassing. So, an organization that has won 6 Super Bowls, is always competitive and relevant, has been a model for many other organizations, an organization that has been outstanding in the community, has produced great players and upstanding men in their communities...they have lost ALL credibility because the product on the field hasn't been what we want it to be?OK, you win. Now what "credibility" have been maintained?
1.) That D wins championships? That has proven false for many years. It's just not true. The Steelers pay the most for their D. How has that been working out?
2.) That the D and running the ball are the 1st and only concern. Not true.
3.) Scheme not important?
That's where all of the white women are at.Marcus want to make a jump to the NFL?

So this is what you grabbed from Lloyd's orginal post when he used..."all credibility" instead of "some credibility"? LOL. Thanks pretty funny. You stated the organization has lost ALL credibility. Let's look at your points there. 1). The two favorites to be in the Super Bowl are probably the Eagles and the Chiefs. The Eagles are #1 in overall defense, the Chiefs are #9. Defense is still kinda important. 2) You said the Steelers have lost credibility which means to some extent they don't do what they say. They have shown time and time again they believe the D and the running game are the main concern. Threads are started here griping about that. They may be wrong, but they are credible, because they say it, they believe it and they act on it. 3) Their scheme is not very good. No argument there. But what does that have to do with credibility?
You asked me earlier what is so hard to understand as it pertains to credibility. Obviously you don't have the slightest idea.
He would be crazy!Marcus want to make a jump to the NFL?
Yeah. What did you grab? Words mean things. So this is what you grabbed from Lloyd's orginal post when he used..."all credibility" instead of "some credibility"? LOL. Thanks pretty funny.
Id take him coaching the Steelers without thinking about it twice.Marcus want to make a jump to the NFL?
Why? So 17 years or whatever isn't enough time to prove you don't care about the race of the coach? I don't think that has anything to do with it.Deuce will make every excuse he can think of. He is not going to be the Rooney who fires their Rooney Rule hire.
Shades has three years remaining on he contract and he could go 0-17 every year and not get fired.
