Arthur Smith to get interview with the Lions for their OC position.

Go to Detroit and run endless screen passes up there too!

Exactly, there was a reason he had a head coaching opportunity in the first place.

No matter where Smith lands, his offense will look significantly different than what we saw from him with Tomlin. With that said, we can say the same for our Steelers. No matter who they choose, we will see major changes on both sides of the ball, philosophically alone.
 
I have to believe that Smith’s offense will
look a whole lot different in Detroit.
With that Lion offense and their offensive talent and a head coach that actually has a clue, I think Artie does well if he goes to Detroit.
 
What is the interest in art Smith about? Interest because people saw what he did with our offense even though it didn't have a legit number two receiver? Imagine our offense this year without a not so great quarterback

Arthur Smith's O everywhere but here
A.) used a metric ton of play action from under center

B. Utilized a TE a ton in the middle of the field

Do either of these sound like the past two years?

Tomlins issues first and foremost started with his own ego... accepting that others may have better methods than yourself is a healthy growth goal for him... hopefully his ending here drives him to get there...

That lack of coaching tree is not an accident

I wish A.Smith the best, but I still want him gone.

We need new, non tomlinized OC and more.

Our New Coach will bring us that.

I hope he gets the job. His ideas were squashed by Tomlin. The only thing he was allowed to do was come up with those creative plays that looked like tush push but would fireworks out. That was Smith. Not Tomlin.
