The have been following the other thread. I have been reading and watching all this crap about DeflateGate. Listened to all the endless comments on how everyone does it and seen the different websites that list all the things other teams have done are just an attempt to draw attention from the *pats. I have wanted to comment on SO many of the posts but it seemed like I was beating a dead horse. Restating what everyone else has said or trying to make sense out of those who I didn’t agree with. It all comes down to the following:

The fundamental difference with their cheating ways and the other teams cheat is that there is a PATTERN in what the *pats are doing. Yes everyone will try once to get away with something that is human nature. But when you have been warned REPEATEDLY that you are doing things that are wrong you should learn from your mistakes.

If you are repeatedly told to quit bending the rules and you don’t then guess what you are going to be caught ONE too many times and the hammer is going to fall (or at least it should).

I have listened to everyone make excuses for them. Most, not all, of the other teams do not do that. There are a few that have and it seems to me that those cases have backfired. Just to point out a few things that were handled properly – Ben’s transgressions , Santonio’s and Bells’s issues, Steelers over the cap (btw they turned themselves in ) All were dealt with in the appropiate way and yes we complained , of course we said the punishment was unfair. We as fans have a right to do that , but you know what our MANAGEMENT were the ones that made sure the process was done right not covered up.

Yes we have had our share of what people can say are cheating events but can anyone tell me did any of those things change the out come of the game ?? I know some of you are going to say that deflating the ball is no big deal. I really don’t believe that. Think about it. Can a receive get a better hold on a ball that is a little underdeflated. I have not seen a football deflated to that amount but I am sure a SOFTER football is easier to catch. Can a Running back get a better hold on it. According to the Bus .. YES !!! He even demonstrated it on TV right after the Championship game.

The fact that T*m was one of the front runners for changing the way balls were handled on game day and the fumble statistics for the *pats this was something that he has been doing for YEARS !! Of course they are not going to go back an revisit that but I don’t believe this is a one time thing. Practice makes perfect , doing something enough times makes it easier. So something that once took minutes could take seconds ..

Not the same but example. Anyone have an alarm system – first time you armed it it probably took you several minutes , making sure you hit the correct code and the button to start the system. How many of you now leave your house , arm the sytem and get into your car and think .. “Did I set the alarm” it becomes second nature. Practice makes perfect.

The *pats have practiced cheating for SO long they themselves don’t think it is cheating anymore. The average fan can see it , the other teams in the league can see it , lets just hope the NFL offices do something about it. I am hoping that this appeal opens a can of worms that cannot be put back into the can. I may be hoping for the impossible but I have to have hope so that I can once again go back to enjoying the game that I love to watch. If not then I may continue only watching my Steelers play for entertainment and not get invested in the game as much as I use to, which will be a sad day for the sport because I don’t think I will be alone in that.

I think they are one hiccup away from some severe penalties, as so far I see it as slap on the wrists.

Problem is they aren't the type of organization as mentioned that will catch a clue.

They will continue until

Bill * is banned or retires. With Goodell being Kraft's buddy I am thinking it will be the latter.

There's no doubt in my mind they cheat in other ways still. Just like the switching of eligible receivers vs Baltimore.

I like the way you make T*m's name with the Patserisk * Cheryl. I think I will start using M*rsha, Kr*pft and D*rth H**die too!

One of the many things I hate about the *pats is their arrogance about cheating. They are warned about it and do it anyway because they don't think Goddell would do anything to his favorite franchise.

I think we are witnessing the arrogant Pats* thumbing their nose at the entire NFL right now.....by poking Goodell, they are daring him to take further action, like they know that he knows they have more skeletons, but can't do anything about it without damaging the NFL and his legacy.

I agree CPollock. I would add only this to what you said: It seems like the Cheatriots actively look for new ways to cheat and if deflating the footballs gave no advantage why did they do it?

Well they cant even try ACT humble and like "oops my bad". Brady is an arrogant mother ****** and I think Tom is about to break up the love affair between Kraft and Goodell.

I think the average fan believes that the Pats** only used deflated balls in the one game against the Colts and has completely forgotten about Spygate.

I wouldn't call that cheating, just that Belicheat found something the rulebook didn't address that he could use to his advantage. I remember at the time thinking "I wish our coach was that smart". I believe this coming season that will be against the rules.
Taking a page from Smokey Yunick's NASCAR attitude where if the rulebook didn't specifically say something was against the rules, well then it must be okay.

Because they think that they are SUPERIOR and that everyone else is stupid.

It was tiptoeing on the line.

I just cannot wrap my head around that kind of arrogance. At least try to be slick with your **** if youre gonna be shady. I think that arrogance and the thumbing of the nose in general is what people are really pissed about. This isnt about some deflated balls.

This is about the continued cheating and thinking they are above the fray.

Gee....where have I heard of that attitude before ?

I agree with what you said except for this one little part.

Yes everyone will try once to get away with something that is human nature. But when you have been warned REPEATEDLY that you are doing things that are wrong you should learn from your mistakes.

Not everyone will cheat or steal. The actual verified numbers are 20% will cheat or steal regardless of thinking they will get caught, the cheatriots. Another 60% will cheat or steal if they think they will not get caught. The remaining 20% will not cheat or steal even if they are sure they will not get caught.

I will agree with that ... But the thought will probably cross their mind,

These cheatri*ts are in a league of their own. CERTIFIED agressive cheaters. If they are looking for ways to extort the rules, YOU can bet your @ss they have found things, that are cheating, t get away with. If an organization will go to the pain staking process of taping, then ,matching it up with both game sound and clock time, shlit, there is no limit. NO, absolutely NOT all teams do it. What a guilty joke that arguement is. All teams do it............ Bullchyt. Arrogance, entitlement, above the penalty / fines, both in and out of game play. These p****t's have been doing this since the h**die has come to town. Can of worms that can'[t be put back, feed them to the fishies......

Over 50% of the complaints to the league office by other teams about cheating or foul play are for the pats. Think about that

Lets not forget about "Snowplow Gate"....the first of the Cheatriots famous cheats! I think there's something fishy about the tuck rule call as well.

I remember that..karma to you did not know that the driver was a convicted felon, seems that a tradition of cheating was well established.

You guys are giving this way to much credit. This was a random act, mostly of the "CONvict" . The h**die's acts of cheating are way way way way more sophisticated than this was. A league of his own. Granted, this may have been the start of things to come, but not even close to same company as t*mmy b*y and the h**die. At the time, I thought right on-man, but later realized the consequinces of what went on. FlUCK the p*ts and their entire existance, 'cept the convict, i'm sure he was just along for the ride.............

The Pats have stretched the rules forever. No justification at all that these two equipment managers took it on their own to do something to the ball without the power of Brady or another on the team to make them do this. Why would they take a chance to lose a job that many would take in a hart beat. Why would they be suspended when all is said they did nothing. Brady would have no reason not to rub it in Gödel face and show the NFL his phone to prove it. Kraft and his million word report and then back out of fighting the penalty. I think fans are smarter except the Pats fans to not see something is to this report. Brady should but won't in the eyes of all the sports media be a cheater for life, and we all rub are heads in thinking why did he need to cheat. We all know he was the best at throwing five yards and getting credit for twenty passing yards.

Iron, I think you need to watch the video again, the head coach of the cheatriots went down the side line and sent him on to the field with instructions to do what he did, the head coach is the guy in the parka running down the sidelines in the beginning of the video.

is this documented anywhere?

It would be great to see this juxtaposed with the graph of their incredible lack of fumbling....

My meaning was more to the effect of............... It wasn't planned into the game plan, the video taping and sinc ing up of said video to game clock and sound, the microphones on defensive players, the list goes on n on n on n on............Kapish?
............The snow plow thing was a random act. Just thought of as the game proceeded. NOT pre planned, as the h**die does.
