Bell and his stupid 1st down celebration

Seriously, after this game, THIS is what you don't like?

I'm not a fan of how he incorporated the Tampa Bay player into his celebration. The opposition is to be bent over and clothes burned.

I don't like it, but this is the NFL today. Its not going to change.

I don't care about the Bell thing. But what I want to know, IS, Why can't our defensive guys do what the buccaneer did? Lets get some nastiness tough **** going!!! Jack Lambert type ****. What say ye?

Salute the nation

A: Tomlin allows this ****, just like the def celebrating tackles on 1st & 2nd down...then 3rd and 22,,,boom first down, but no swagger?? I don't understand?? This is also why a team can have over 100 yrds in penaties vs a very bad team. I wonder if the players laugh right at the "brothers" face or behind his back when he is coaching?

The two guys who celebrate like that are the 2 best players on the team. Without Bell and Brown we are 0-4.

Goodell gelded our D over the last few years.

They might as well have fun since they don't seem to have the drive to be a winning team.

celebrating first downs against a team ... who got smoked by 42 points the previous week...Just emblematic of larger issues...

Tomlin doesn't have the balls to tell the players to knock it off nor does he care to. After all he is a "players coach" and that always gets positive results?

Doing that and ABA's endzone sort of celebration are minor. It's ridiculous to throw flags on that kind of stuff. Nothing was even close to being excessive. Rog is just being an *** and ruining the game and what little fun the players can have. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate a little after a big first down or especially a TD. This is all total bullshit.

I thought that flag was more unneeded bullshit from the refs. Everybody in the league (except Heath) does that.

They couldn't, maybe, win the game first, and then celebrate? Nothing seems more ludicrous to me than players (anywhere, in any sport) who celebrate a momentary achievement while failing to comprehend that they're losing the game. I can understand a guy who scores a touchdown spiking the ball or doing a little dance because there is an emotional aspect to this game. But celebrating a first down catch or run, or just celebrating a single play in general... what's the point? Even if you're winning, celebrating every little play seems to be poor sportsmanship at best, and ill-advised when it turns out you've celebrated too early, or worse, injure yourself while celebrating and end your season.

I guess it's just a sign and symptom of the bigger problem with the NFL today - this is a culture of spoiled kids in mens' bodies who have largely lost sight of the fact that this is a team sport, and that there's room for everyone to participate, win or lose, with some class and grace.

I can't stand the first down pointing thing. It's just showboating.

Yay! You outran a tackle!
In Bell's attempt to do is 1st down point, he bumped the defender trying to show off. Just plain stupid.

Yay! You made a catch!

Antonio Brown pissed me off with that in the past and yesterday was no exception.

What happened to the one catch that could have sealed the game? - you know the one, where you passed by the defenders and the only thing between you and the endzone was your own narcissistic ***. I guess you couldn't be bothered with taking every damn play seriously.
