Bell looks a little baked in the photo. Personally, I think the NFL needs to lighten their rules on pot as an estimated 30-50% of the players smoke it. I'd rather see just a fine for a positive test, and no suspension, unless it's a DUI

Our problem is we have certain players who make it easy to get caught. Holmes used social media to say wake and bake, and Bell fills us his car with a cloud of you know what. Be smart about it, please! Do it in private areas or get your fall guy as mentioned in the rookie symposium.

The Steelers alphabetize their locker room. Also, I wish Bell and Bryant's locker were not next to each other. Just saying, why increase the odds for a bad conversation? I'd rather have their lockers next to a team captain as both Bell and Bryant are very important to the team.. This is a small change I hope Tomlin will make.

I hope he can keep his 2015 playing weight. Bell as a rookie was 240+ and not as quick.
 
The NFL should follow the NBA and not have a ban on weed, c'mon it's not a performance enhancing substance. Is there a ban on booze?

Why should these players be any different than the rest of us. Let me say that I am all for legalizing weed I smoked enough growing up to get this board stoned everyday for the next ten years, BUT if I get hurt at work and then fail a drug test I am gone do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars. That's the way 99% of all jobs in this country are and none of us make **** compared to an nfl player.

If we can be held to higher standards than an nfl player is for grass,( they don't even lose their jobs until the 6000 chance) then they can sure as hell give up smoking till they are done or it's made legal to do so. So until then I don't give a rats *** if they play for the steelers or any other team' you get caught pay the price.

I'd say some of those guys will not be here for the season opener. I'm guessing you fail to see my point about a troubled but talented players being near a team captain.

I'd say that might be a pretty good move. Mike Tomlin did that once ya know. It helped to put the young guys in their place and get them to start being more professional. They ended up missing the playoffs that year by one game, but it was a season that really could have gone down the *******. Since then, they've made the playoffs in both of the last years.

Yes, one could point to that simple act as the catalyst to the ongoing rebirth of the Steelers.

Reading this makes one stupid...
 
If I'm Goodell, thank god I'm not, I'd be looking at testing Bell frequently as you can barely see his eyes in a majority of social media pics. Chinese eyed barely begins to describe it. I would be surprised if he doesn't get popped again at some point. Here's to hoping he proves me wrong because his natural talent is undeniable.
 
They are not looking to catch players. The system is set up to allow players to smoke. You can only get caught if you are a idiot and have a serious problem.

Yes they were idiots for getting caught. That doesn't mean I want them replaced by Williams and Coates or traded away
