The Pittsburgh Steelers were again dealt a blow to their secondary by way of a groin injury. This time it was starting cornerback Cam Sutton. He missed the final part of Sunday’s loss to Green Bay, and his status for this Sunday is in question. The Steelers also lost Kevin Dotson to a hip flexor late in the game. He was replaced by veteran BJ Finney.

Coach Mike Tomlin updated their status, and had a surprising announcement of a hip injury for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger is apparently dealing with a hip injury to the same degree as Dotson. Like normal he said that practice will determine their availability for Sunday.

Tomlin said he expects receiver Chase Claypool (hamstring), and tackle Chuks Okorafor (concussion) to return to practice this week. Tomlin also said they will monitor Zach Banner’s progress at practice this week to determine if they can activate him to the 53 man roster. There was no word on Carlos Davis who has missed the last three weeks with a knee injury.

Funny how Ben always seems to be dealing with some new injury after another ****** performance. Of course, he said it himself last week: Everything hurts. Thought he had run out of specific issues, but now it's his hip. Pretty soon it's going to be his ego and his legacy that get badly bruised.

That and he’s just old. I think my youngest son runs faster than Ben

I said it at the beginning, he would not be benched. He will be placed on IR with an injury long before being humiliated by the Steelers.

Not sure that legacy will be bruised. Ego I might buy. But the guy is a HOFer who lasted longer than most at his position. Two SB victories including one were Kurt Warner still wakes up in sweats and one more appearance where he lost to AR. No shame in that. Add in his year after year win percentage. Old age won't be bruising a great run. If his ego is bruised that HOF jacket will return it to form.

I hear you, but a lot of the media have never been very fond of Ben, and they are letting him have it right now. If this **** show goes on for weeks and months with Ben at the helm, it's going to leave a mark on his career.

Here's that phantom injury we knew would pop up as an excuse to pull him or not play him next week.

The leagues most immobile QB dealing with a hip injury...

With this Offensive line, and I do mean Offensive, if Superman was playing QB he'd have a bruised hip.

That's the thing, he is getting brutally killed out there. There are bound to be injuries, like it or not. 18years of taking a beating and some here mock him on an injury he is trying to play through.

If it is a made up injury than shame on him but watching the hits he is taking I think it's legit and if he can't over come it then sit him.
