Ben Roethlisberger, potentially playing in his final season , continued to add to his Hall of Fame resume by moving into 5th All-Time in passing yards on a 3-yard completion to Najee Harris in the 2nd quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers contest vs. the Tennessee Titans.

Roethlisberger needed 27 yards entering the game to pass Phillip Rivers (63,440). Roethlisberger eclipsed the long held standard set by Dan Marino (61,361) in Week 4 vs. the Green Bay Packers. Number 4 on the list is Brett Favre with 71,838 yards and while it is unlikely Roethlisberger will play long enough to pass that particular milestone, it is a testament to his magnificent career and it could be a long time until someone passes up Roethlisberger.

However, Roethlisberger is in range of another major career milestone, needing only 6 TDs (415) to pass Marino (420) and Rivers (421) on the All-Time TD list.

Good Job!!!

I wish he’d have gotten a couple of TDs so he could pass up Rivers & kept 26 game streak going

With all of these stats, you'd think the media would talk more about Ben and his accomplishments. He certainly deserves it.

You'd think...The only press they give him is negative.

I don't think Ben's gotten so much as a speeding ticket since he cleaned up his act. But Millidgeville and that skank from Harrah's will unfortunately haunt him forever.

Also think he moved up to 2nd on Comeback and Game winning drives list.
That's kind of funny, since the final 2 "drives" which resulted in the Steelers' winning margin were both 3-and-outs, set up by the defense at the Titans 31- and 35-yard lines, respectively. Kind of reminded me of what happened late in the Chargers game, except this time, the D held the lead at the end after the offense did nothing with its field position.

Way to go, Ben! lol

Dropping this here. Fell into my feed and felt no need for a new coach thread. Ahh some good memories here. Ahh I miss big snack.

Thanks for putting that video up. Definitely worth the watch for memories and what a team that was. :)

So you're saying the Titans turned the ball over on offense... But the Steelers offense DIDN'T turn it over. I agree. Way to go Ben!

That beautiful ******* defense!

And watching Hines and Randle El lope around the field wide open. It made me want to punch a kitten.

How about those wide open holes for the RBs.

That's one I really would've like to have seen him get. Gonna be tough to make it there.

So now the standard is simply not turning the ball over after the defense gives you the ball already in field goal position? lol

Jesus, exactly how far have your expectations for Ben Roethlisberger fallen?

6 TDs, doesnt seem likely with this **** offense. Hope he gets it.
Sad part is the offense is not a **** offense at the skill positions.

Harris is going to top 1000 yards despite no holes, don’t think another RB in league could have pulled it off. Already 62 catches and 9 TDs—sure likely to get 1700-1800 all purpose yards.

DJ already over 1000 yards & should top 100 catches. Muth is a great TE, and all 3 have great character. While immature Chase is not lacking in ability either.

Kinda proves the adage the a team is built from inside out. Gotta get some hosses on that OL

At least an OL coach who can make something out of nothing. The line has been **** ever since we lost our coach to Denver

I would've thrown everything at Munch to stay, but apparently his burgeoning family were in Denver. And I drank the kool-aid that Klemm was a good OL coach advocating "absolutely maul the person in front of you" etc. but that's not working out very well. One thing I loved about Cowher, he knew the importance of both trenches.

That's where the game is ultimately won...

Munchack did come into an OL with Pouncey 4 years, DeCastro 2 years, and a pair of 2nd round OTs to begin with. Also Ramon Foster was an UDFA that had been starting since 2010.

Let’s not pretend like he had nothing to work with.

He left at the right time, when his stock was highest. And to be frank, the retirements of Pouncey/DeCastro were unexpected & relatively young. This OL should have had experienced anchors to it , but turned out to have 4 new starters and 3 in first year.
