I saw a clip of BEN at practice just stopping by. He and the players all seemed to be smiling / laughing, Chase Claypool being one of them.

Just curious how some here said he wasn't a good teammate and and ******* with no leadership ability....................YET he seemed a welcome visit there.

I know it could just be "face value" but it seemed like an up-standing thing to do.

EDIT: Sorry no link as it was just a short clip

Please tell me this is a sarcastic jab and not a real "discussion"
I saw a link to an article about the "cool relationship" between KP and Ben. I figured it was just media nonsense, so I ignored it. anything to get clicks.

Man after 18 years of the same routine in Pittsburgh and before that high school and college, its gotta be a little weird for Ben to be not practicing for the upcoming season.

Hopefully 1 HOF QB is passing the torch to another HOF QB

And the media narrative is asking why Ben didn't talk to Pickett?

When did pro football become a soap opera?

Since the media has made agendas.........................

After his retirement all we saw of TERRY BRADSHAW was the crack of his *** as he left town.

Refreshing to see our HOF qaurterback visiting and shaking hands of players and coaches.

Thank You Ben Roethlisberger for an out standing STEELERS career....!!!!!

Man, he looks genuinely happy and content in retirement. Good for him. He is my favorite Steeler of all time.

But you have to wonder... what if, late in the season, if a QB for a contender goes down with an injury, and he gets a call, would he come out of retirement and try for another ring. I think he would. It would suck seeing him in another uniform, but if he did, I would root for him to get that ring (assuming not against us, and not for Dallas, NE, etc).

If this happened a few years ago before he had a couple injuries it's a possibility. Ben's arm and mobility was never the same not to mention age taking it's toll. As much as I enjoyed his career he's done. During his fourth quarter come backs the last two seasons, he was gaining stats due to his experience and prevent defence. The first 40 minutes, it was sad. Blame it on Canada's play calling, OL or whatever, the HOFer has no mobility or arm left to put the fear into opponents.

Ben is done. Only way I see him playing again is if god forbid Mitch,Kenny and Masn go down to season ending injury

That's what happens when you cheer when people get injured after they've won you 4 superbowls. It took him a long time to move past that and realize that never represented most Steeler fans. If you watch A Football Life, Terry Bradshaw you'll get a clear understanding. I'm glad his return reception was loud. He actually thought people may boo him.

I'll never forget at Super Bowl XLV when Steelers fans were cheering Bradshaw and just wanted a wave and every person at Fox's studio show turned around to acknowledge the crowd except Bradshaw.

Ben should have brought some Primanti sammiches.

Maybe he did,............ just concealed inside him/.............................

Although I feel he has the gas in the tank I don't see him coming out of retirement for any reason. If he were the OL would be his biggest factor.

I have watched the football life bradshaw and yes a very good watch. I don't blame Bradshaw at all but the point I was trying to make was here we have another HOF QB who is here and shaking the hands.

I as a fan appreciate both of them and their play and championships ect.. I would NEVER boo either or any STEELERS player while on the field of play.

Steelr4evr, I hear yaz loud and clear and thanks for all your great post(s) along the way.!
