Our favorite QB (We love you to Terry B) Big Ben says on his podcast maybe it’s time to clean house.
He says he respects and likes Coach T but maybe it’s time. Also said maybe he should go to Penn State since he’d be a great recruiter.
Coming now from lot of x players but Ben being the most prominent one.

I’m aligned with Big Ben on that one which is unusual because I think he opens his pie hole a little too much at times.

It would actually serve two purposes, one it would be the start of a new regime of improved Steeler football, and two it would make for great entertaining reading on the college football threads on this site!

Well remember Dino, Ben has a podcast and of course he’s going to be mainly talking Steelers.
This is strictly my opinion but I’ve always felt Ben
and Tomlin’s relationship was never the greatest.
Ben made a remark at one time about Aaron Rodgers got DK and he got a guy to play center that wasn’t a center. May have been some animosity between Ben and Tomlin. Idk just my thoughts and opinion.

LOL, I brought all that up and got blasted as being a Ben Lover. Good luck my man.
I was just bringing it up to show how bad this offense really is, the offense with Ben, a refurbished elbow, Matt Canada, a horrible Oline(worse than this one) and the weapons of Dionte, Chase, Ray-Ray, a rookie TE and rookie RB out produced this current offense with the 4th highest paid WR, 2 first round draft picks on the Oline, a center that everyone said would possible be a future all-pro.

I’m a Big Ben lover too! Every poster here should be as well for what he contributed to this franchise.
We all got spoiled here for 18 seasons with Ben. I was spoiled as well with Terry Bradshaw.
We all here realize how ****** up things are when we have to go through a revolving door of washed up and scrubs at QB.
Six starting QBs since Big Ben retired after 2021.
Let me add this…. I firmly believe had Cowher remained Ben would have 2-3 more SBs.
The million dollar question now is who will Tomlin bring in next season? Anthony Richardson, Kyler Murray, hell he might even bring in Flacco.

first off, this OL is not ******. These dudes came from schools where they were taught how to play. The OL coach is the one at fault at this point. Remember when Munchak came in, he fixed the OL via technique and teaching. Meyer apparently is either not doing his job OR doing what Tomlin has instructed to be done. I do believe this OL could be extremely good... but there's something holding them back and it isnt talent.

So we know Tomlin has had his thumb in on the offensive plays and the defense overall... it's not far fetched to consider the idea that he's also dicking around in every/all aspects. Its what a control freak does when micromanaging.

Tomlin is a control freak and a very insecure individual.
I agree 1000% with what you said about these OL being talented. They were excellent OL in major programs and didn’t forget how to play their position.
It’s technique and blocking schemes and that’s Pat Meyer and Tomlin.
Look at what the Bills just did with two back ups at LT and RT. They cleared huge holes for their RBs. Using the same play over and over and that as you know comes with proper coaching, schemes, technique, playcalling.

To be clear, I think Ben was the best quarterback Steelers ever had in franchise history. And I grew up thinking Terry Bradshaw was a gift from heaven.

I just have a little bit of problem, well not a problem an issue, with both of these great ex Steeler quarterbacks, and how they both at times chose to use their platforms with their life’s work, as the emperor used to say.

And before I get jumped all over, they are free to do whatever they choose after football and at times both are entertaining and insightful, however, I feel they’re also times that they both get a little bit of the diarrhea of the mouth. 😉

Ryan Clark, Arthur Moats, Bryant McFadden, Cam Heyward, Joe Haden, James Harrison, Trai Essex, Ramon Foster all have shows as well. I'm probably missing a few.

That’s fine and dandy. I know a lot of NFL players do shows on network and cable TV as well as podcast, which I never listen to by the way.
That is great. I hope they make tons of money, never listen to them, and if I did, I don’t know if I would enjoy their shows or not.
Because of my respect for Terry and Ben, as great Steelers and Super Bowl winning quarterbacks, I guess I am more tuned in to what they communicate to millions of people.

His show is pretty good, especially when he has current and ex players on there, he's had Tomlin and Cowher on before, both good listens.

If you’re referring to Ben’s podcast and show, yes, I’m well aware he’s doing well.
My one daughter is a huge Ben fan of him as a player, and with what he has chosen for his life‘s work.
She fills me in on the highlights, all the time and puts it on the TV when I’m at her place occasionally.
I do have to say I enjoy the beer tasting segments!
And that’s one time where Ben should have his pie hole open wide lol

Doesn't matter who he brings in.
Great HOF QB?
Washed up soon to be HOF QB?
Prime Montana?
Reclamation Project QB?
Rookie 1st round pick?
Whomever comes in, since Retard is still coaching, whatever talent they have will be wasted and undeveloped.
Until this fraud is gone, we'll just continue slamming our heads into bricks.

On a personal level, both Terry and Ben are garbage humans.
BUT, they were both exceptional football talents.
We cheer the on field product.
We don't sit around TVs or in the stands watching these players interact with their spouse and children, grocery shop, interact with other humans in public.
Sorry, I don't care if the player "gives back to the community", or wears pink cleats to support cancer research, or stands/sits/kneels for whichever National Anthem.
I care if they win my team games, win my team championships, and tries their best to earn their overinflated paycheck. PERIOD. FULL STOP.
Also don't care what they have to say now that they're retired.

What a downer it will be when Tomlin stays as hc and the draft is in Pittsburgh. Who wants Tomlin picking players....especially qb's.

James Harrison and Ed Bouchette have also said it's time to move on from Tomlin.

Ben also said he was told Roders was calling plays when they moved the ball on Buffalo. He also said they should use PF and DK more and it appeared alot of the issues are scheme related.

Your cool Dino! Not jumping on you!
Just stating that’s what Ben does on his Podcasts. He centers his discussions around the Steelers and heaven knows there’s plenty to discuss.

Couldn’t have said it better! Until the fraud the con man is gone nothing gets better.

Roethlisberger has a really good podcast. Talking ball, his guests, or live broadcasts of games are all enjoyable to listen to.

Tomlin could be a good CEO college coach, I just don't think he'd hire the right offensive staff to be success--and that is absolutely vital in the college game. If he did, he could probably name his price for a lot of schools.

But the bottom line Roethlisberger joined the line of saying it's time for Tomlin. Bruce Arians said the same yesterday and Mike Wilbon on PTI also agreed. If the Steelers don't make the move, this offseason and next season are going to get ugly unless the team is a legit contender.

Tomlin's defining characteristic in all things has always been coming when he should be going and going when he should be coming. So, as much as it's obvious the jig is up with Renegade and Tomlin, that probably means he defiantly stays when the entire Universe knows it's time to go.
