Probably won't happen..but..reports are Heinz Field is a possible replacement site if the game can't be played in Buffalo.

Would it be a free game? (IIRC the Vikings vs Giants 2010 game in Detroit was free)

WPIAL Championships, 4 games, all day Friday.

Supposedly plans were to re-sod the field during the bye-week.

That was being discussed also. Makes the most sense although they may not have the **** cleared plus Buffalo is supposed to get another THREE FEET of snow today and then it's supposed to go into the 50's over the weekend, so half the joint might be under water. Hell, if the tickets are cheap enough here I'll go. When you get that much snow (I lived in Watertown, NY for a year) you can't just plow it because there is no where for it to go. You have to use front end loaders and fleets of dump trucks to haul it away. I lived about 20 miles north of this place:

Be easier for Jets and Bills fans to get here. We're about 3 to 4 hours from Buffalo and 5 to 6 hours from NJ depending on weather.

Actually they don't. They need to get it on TV around the same time but empty seats don't look good in TV and Yinzers love an excuse for a tailgate party.

As a Steeler fan, I feel for the Bills fans. This is tough. We need to show class and, if possible, let the Bills use Heinz field Sunday as their home field. it's going to be tough to get around in Buffalo, but they are close enough to Pittsburgh that at least their fan base can come down.

Lots going on this week end at Heinz but perhaps this would be a great gesture.

I just read that it ain't happenin', after the WPIAL playoffs and the Pitt game the field is slated to be recovered on Sat and it has to sit a week before anyone can play on it.

There or play at the Jets. Problem is the way the weather is going it would be difficult to impossible for BillsFan to travel east. Be easier and safer to go south and west to here. Philly must be at home because they're mentioning Detroit on the Weather Channel right now. I say play here and sod the field right after. And give Burgundy free tickets.

"Due to public safety concerns in light of the ongoing weather emergency in Western New York, Sunday's Jets-Bills game will not be played in Buffalo," the league said in a statement. It remains unclear where the game will be moved, but most signs point to a Monday tilt in Detroit or Washington D.C. New York apparently isn't an option because of the unfair advantage it would afford the Jets.

I'm a Lifetime Steelers fan and I really REALLY really, dislike the cheatriots. I do bet, with being in their same division, That dislike would fester and boil, as time continued on. Similar to us STEELERS fans and those ******** gayvens, just keeps festering and boiling. Of coarse festering and boiling in Baltimore has a different meaning, than in PITTSBURGH or anywhere else for that manner.
