The Pittsburgh Steelers had a staffing change today. Offensive line coach Adrian Klemm has left the team to join Oregon University Football Program:

Source: Steelers offensive line coach Adrian Klemm is departing for Oregon, where he’ll be OL coach, run game coordinator and asst head coach. He spoke to MIke Tomlin and is being let out today to start his new job.

Klemm will take on offensive line coaching duties, assistant coaching duties, as well as being the run game coordinator. We wish Klemm the best of luck in his next endeavor.

Assistant offensive line coach Chris Morgan will likely take on the role of offensive line coach in the wake of these events. The team will look to redeem themselves Monday night at home against the Cleveland Browns.

Like rats jumping ship…
Addition by subtraction. Just probably too little too late for this season to really impact.

Maybe next time they ask for experienced resume before hiring someone

let the name of Adrian Klemm be stricken from every playbook and tablet, stricken from every tackling dummy and bathroom stall in the Steeler's locker room.
Let the name of Adrian Klemm be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of all Steeler personnel and fans for all time.

Jim Hanifan couldn't do much more with this group of misfits.

I know he had little to work with ........... I just dislike guys under contract who bale early
They allowed it. Without a green light he wouldn't be able to go.

looks better to say ......this guy was in high demand and we wish him well ........then to say .......we won't renew his contract going forward because he may have been a mistaken choice

Just wondering what people were crazy enough to think he was in high demand.

He was a ****** hire with a poor resume. The real question is why was this bum.hired from in house when the Steelers knew we needed a great OLine coach to being along 3 or 4 new young starters ? Another Tomlin fuckup.

I think he was a good gamble… tge Steelers have done well gambling on guy like him… he talked aggressive line play… he had a history of that in his college coaching career… but yeah it probably made more sense for taking a chance on this kind of guy with a mostly set line rather than a totally raw one

What guys like him have the Steelers gambled on and they succeeded ?

he was with the team last year. They need more than talk, they need an assistant OC who can fit scheme with blocking
