Brock Assholer **** the bed again

What is best for the Steelers is that Osweiler and all these other AFC quarterbacks do just good enough to keep their jobs but never good enough to be anything in the playoffs.

I want every other AFC team to have a #10-#15 quarterback. That would be perfect. I love that our division has Flacco and Dalton and they both did just good enough to get huge contracts. But in truth neither scares me in a playoff game.

What scares me is Tomlin and our team not being prepared to play up to our potential and the failure of our team to have depth to compensate for injuries (or have coaches scheme to cover up the liability of backups).

Who cares?

I don't understand posts like this. I read the title of the thread, came in, and yours is the only reply. I cared, because it's a FOOTBALL form, and, well, Brock is an NFL football player, a quarterback, as a matter of fact, or at least he plays one on tv. Some would say the quarterback is a fairly valuable position. If you watched the game this weekend, you'll note how well our backup performed. Perhaps, and I'm just reaching here, knowing a little something about other quarterbacks can help when we, oh, I don't know, have one of our many discussions about Ben, or Landry, or whomever. I know most of you ******* yinzers just live in your own little bubble, but there's a brave new world out there if you just take a few seconds to go see it.

And what information did you gleam from the original post of "love it"? Fountain of useful information that was. Don't understand the reason for hoping the choice of the Texans fails or hating on him for picking up a big paycheck. And personally, I'd rather they defeated the defending champs. They have a much better defense than the Texans.

TIm Tebow was better.

I was hoping he would do well in Houston, oh well.

Who cares?

Well, perhaps instead of "who cares" a reply of "can you add something more to the discussion". And yes, I was pulling for them to beat the Broncos too, but the drive I was watching they fumbled it away on a run, not on a pass, so I'd say it was the RB who **** the bed. But at any rate, apparently Brock got his payday and he just might not have been worth it.

And he loves his guaranteed $37 million. That means he can flat out count on like $20 million, in his bank account, after taxes and agent. He is set for life.

But he sucks just as bad as Landry Jones. As a matter of fact, he reminded me very much of Jones: weak, inaccurate, unsure of himself. Same body language.

Brock is terrible. It took him what, 35, 36 completions to hit the 100yd mark last night?? I mean, yeah, the Broncos have a very good defense, but cotdamn, son! And how does a 6'8" quarterback repeatedly get his passes batted down???

Old man McNair must've felt like the biggest sucker in the world, sitting in his owner's suite last night.

Denver has both two stud CBs and a pass rush. but still, 35 attempts to get 100 yards passing? He simply wasn't putting the ball were his WRs could even have a hope of catching it. Collinsworth (I think) said you should at least put the ball where you can get a PI call, at least. He looked every bit as bad as Landry, at, what....$20,000,000 compared to $400,000?

I was thinking the exact same thing...He looked like landry jones. Very indescisive and he and the wrs were not on the same page.

Te bow was run out of ther NFL because of his beliefs. The media lead you elsewhere in that respects. He was a WINING QB, regardless of his mechanics. Osweiller is having problems that his pay scale says he shouldn't be having.............. You can take a knee as you have that right, just figure out who you'd want to take that knee with.......

Salute the nation

That is Jones problem(indecisive). Mrs. MTC is not a football fan and even she noticed he looked jittery under center

Lee Harvey Osweiler strikes again.

Tebow was a baller and a positive for the league. It's a damn shame how he got shooed out. I wouldn't mind him in the B&G

lol....puh-leeez.

lol....puh-leeez.

He was a good player. I liked the guy. The religious stuff was a bit overboard sure. His QB mechanics are not the greatest. He was winning. But one could argue Kaepernick was winning in 2012 and the league has him figured out. Tebow would've gotten exploited if he stayed in Denver. So I can see that. But cannot deny, Tebow was/is an athlete

I was watching the game thinking he looked just like David Carr...always throwing short passes

I try not to laugh at the guys I carpool with who are big Texans' fans...who were so happy they signed him.....

So was Kordell Stewart. In fact Stewart was twice the athlete Tebow ever was. And Stewart won some real games. Even playoff games. But being an athlete does NOT make you capable of reading a defense. That's Tebow's problem.

Tim Tebow, like Kordell Stewart, could have had a long and productive NFL career had he made the choice to play a position that made use of his athleticism and talents. Had Stewart remained in the "Slash" position and the Steelers picked up a true Quarterback after O'Donnell left, Stewart likely would have been as loved as Hines Ward in this town. Instead he made a money grab and went for the spotlight position. It was the least suited for his skills and talents and ultimately it lead to his leaving the team and finally the league.

Tebow didn't make it 4 seasons. He may not have even made it 3. If he'd switched to a H-back or a Tight end he'd likely still be playing and could even be a marquee player. Now he's trying to make a name for himself in farm-ball.

Tebow was not run out of the league because of his religious beliefs. He simply was not good enough to make it as a starting NFL QB. This is a league that will roster murderers and women beaters as long as they have some elite level talents. Tebow was a wasted draft pick and his desire not to attempt to transition to another position cost him a spot in the league.
