The other option was Leftwich, but maybe they wanted him to stay OC to work with Brady.
 
After reading the article I guess at least partially health related.

To be clear, The "bruce" didn't want his name associated with that pot of ****-sizzle.

I just hope deflate-boy doesn't RE-retire.

Good point about Brady. There was buzz at the end of the season some friction with Brady in how the offense was being run. It seemed like it was just Leftwich and Brady running the show during the week.
 
Nothing surprises me anymore regarding this off season.. it wouldn't even surprise me if AB signs q 1 year deal with the bucs.
 
Brady will retire again before the draft.
 
This is 100% because of the Rooney rule. Guaranteed. Probably offered him a ton of cash and he’ll be hands on for a FO executive but it should pacify the imbeciles.

t*myb*y sure as hell isn't dictating to the Bucs what the hell to do. Some here said brady was the root cause. I think the "bruce" will still be keeping a fine line on the coaching.

I don't care if Bowles is an ethnic hire or not. Bruce had to be OK with his promotion or he would have quit or bitched.

Is Bowles really an improvement over bruce ???

You hope that it's not a medical issue. To step down in late March / early April is very rare. This decision is sudden. Anyway he's a great man and great coach. 89-51-1. 635% for the regular season and 6-3 . 667% in the post season. A winner on three franchises that were viewed as bad teams before he took over. Hall of fame in my book.

I’m sure he signed off on it. Throw a ton of cash at Arians who already retired once, well kinda twice, and get to be the man behind the curtain. Why not?
 
Here’s another conspiracy theory…. The NFL really wanted a new black HC hire in light of the Flores story and figured one going to a Super Bowl contender would be even better. “Never mind Miami, look what’s happening in Tampa!”
