Burress 12 games played 22 receptions o TD's

Bryant 7 games (so far) 21 receptions 7 TD's

looks like an exceptional draft pick

I particularly liked the slant catch in the 3rd QTR Sunday. Burress had a patent on that pattern.
It also sets up the bomb, like the 94 yarder. CB's have to lay off the slant or get burned on the bomb
occasionally.

in that play the CB was giving him a 5 yards cushion or even more IIRC, he just outrunned him

Interesting stats, wonder how much AB has to do with Bryant being able to get open, I am guessing a lot. Never the less I also consider this kid a real find in the draft and he will likely be a keeper for a long time.

Definitely, a nice pick in the 4th.

So far, so good. I do think he is limited on routes. Give him another year and defenses are REALLY going to have their hands full. AB most certainly helps with his double / triplr coverage draw. Kudos to all

PS, how long before Bryant "SPIKES" the ball????

Well Burress had Kent Graham and Kordell throwing him the ball, on a running dominated team.
Bryant has a legit QB throwing him the ball in a passing era.

I'm not saying Burress is/was better, or vice versa, just throwing that out there.

He's having a good rookie season no doubt, much better than 3rd round pick Archer!!!!

Actually he has stopped his spin and pose that he used to do, and on the last one just dropped it in the end zone after the catch like he does this all the time. I really liked that thought it showed lots of maturity on his part. Also thought heath tossing the ball to the zebra with his hands up in the air was good as well.

In addition to a lethal running attack...potential of a three-headed monster defenses have to account for in Brown, Bell and Bryant. Killer B's lol.

I saw both of those, liked them very much.

Act like you have done it before.

As long as Bryant doesn't catch a slant sliding across the middle, get up and spike the ball and walk away from it without being touched, he is a step ahead of Plex after year 1.

I like maturaity from Bell and Bryant they make a first down or score and back on the sideline, AB just needs to reduce his dancing from the endzone to the sideline.

Burress still has more Super Bowl winning TDs to end the Patriots undefeated season. God that ******* great!

75% of 6"5 WR on that route Burress ran could have made that catch, it was sweet that td ending, Bryant will be a better long term WR.

You never know whose going to be what, Edwards has the rookie record for catches in a season, AB had 16 catches for like 26 yards and zero TDs as a rookie or something like that

Bryant has a lot to learn, but he's got a ton of tools to work with. They will need him to produce if they want to win their last three games.

Man, just imagine if another team had snagged Bryant after we took Dri and before we took Bryant. I was fuming after we took Archer but I stopped giving a **** about that when we called Bryant's name.

if either of those two could run routes as well as Brown does they could do whatever ******* dance they wanted IMO... both have a light year to go to get to that level though... sloppy telegraphed routes too often.. getting better though

yep He was on my list of guys I wanted in the third... getting him in the 4th eased the pain a bit...
