C Mitch Morse to visit

Interesting.....seems we may be able to fill some holes via UFA.

Take it for what it’s worth. The fans were clamoring for his release for not being worth his contract. Older/ 5 concussion concerns. I’d much rather draft our own young guy To grow with the line. Just another retread looking for his last contract before retirement.

You know fans they hate everyone. He had given up 1 sack on the season per statistics. Was digging around and he was always considered stable as a pass and run defender. I think even as a stop gap he is a better player than Cole...

Certainly Not my argument. He would be better than Cole.
No secret that ive been wanting a top C for years. It started the year before Pouncey retired. Our rich C position has led to our success. I think I find much more importance in this position than others rightfully or wrongly.
i think during our Oline and QB rebuild you need that Top flight Center for the Oline. He’s the anchor. He has the special relationship with the QB. I’d much rather draft our top flight young guy to grow with our line as they gel as a unit. A guy that will be there into his second contract. Not some stop gap player for one or two seasons,then go through it all over again. The Oline needs consistency. And a bit of patience from the fans.

I wouldn't say he got exposed, he had no chance and was running the his life most plays. With that being said I would not even think about drafting him unless we get alot of other holes fixed via FA or get another 1st round pick somehow

Of course that is the desired route and he wouldn't stop the Steelers from taking a top one if one was available. I think we will see a C in 1 or 2....

You know that's not happening. I do like Penix deep ball. I've been wanting them to go bombs away for years.

Kenny would have to start robbing liquor stores for them to address the qb in round one. I could see a later round qb. They'll probably sign Rudolph as well.

Now if he just stinks it up and implodes, then next draft they'll give it a go again. Which is still no guarantees considering their track record over 50 years. Just two guys.

How costly it is to get your guy will depend on how good or bad they do next season.

Can’t be much worse than Cole so I’d say that’s a safe bet

I want them to draft a QB this year
They pretty much will need to for depth
Hope it is a day 3 guy…if that guy steals Kenny’s lunch so be it

You’re likely right that it won’t be a 1st rounder though unless Something crazy happens

I think at this point the best route is let Tomlin ride with KP and don’t extend Tomlin unless he wins a playoff game at a minimum

After that doesn’t happen let the new HC grab his QB next year

Well if they extend the HC in the summer, then that idea will be 4 seasons away. We will know before the real games start next season.

Then we're pretty much locked in. It's just how they operate. They're always 2-3 years past when change was needed.

All we can do is pray,hope and ***** in the meantime.

I'd like to see them win another Superbowl or two in my life.
