Don't expect him back exactly where he left off. I'd think two-3 games to get back moving but may take more.

In my opinion, this is the start of the end of Cam Heyward football. Next season could very well be his last.

I think they will stick to having him get into some kind of shape and return for the November 12th game. Then, yeah, he will need 2 or 3 games to get up to playing speed and shape. They have some other pieces now so they can rotate him for those games but we sure do need him back to form as our running D sucks right along with our pass D. They seriously need to look at a DL in the first round next year to replace Cam. His contract is set to expire soon and I really don't know what they do from there. They really can't afford to give him another contract but I don't think they let him walk either. Sure wish he would have gotten a ring.

They still have so many holes with Cam back, he can only help so much. What he will do though is help Highsmith and Watt who is getting forced to the outside. Teams will need to focus more on Heyward than they're doing now whoever is in there. Benton is a nice start but they need more emphasis on the DL through the draft and free agency, not like it hasn't been posted numerous times. Then there's the secondary even if Porter is who we think and hope.

I'd really like to see them send more people through the gaping holes created by forcing Watt outside. Saw them try it once I think last week but the Rams seemed to know it was coming. I miss Hilton more than expected.

I think he is going to need to go to more of a rotational role to preserve him for the balance of this year and next. Most likely best for him and the team.
