On the other hand, James Conner has a shot at winning a playoff game.
That is what I took it as. Plus after disappointing performances players ponder. I have no doubt he will be back.

I do love Cam. He's a great "Steeler" guy. I mean, T.J. is amazing. Clearly a physical freak. But Cam is down there in the trenches, busting *** and working every down, rarely getting the glory.

I’m sure Cam is frustrated. It’s closer to end of his career and he’s looking at a rebuild vs competing for a ring. I would be a little emotional/upset in his position too. Hopefully new GM and Shades can turn this around quick. Maybe he also just realizes it was end of an era too and now he’s the lone old school standard bearer to hopefully rub off on the youngsters.
