Cam Heyward calls out the NFL

I never figured out why they legalized pushing the player forward… it was banned in the early days of football because it can create really horrible injuries for the ballcarrier caught between two driving forces… Cam is right… player safety only matters when it benefits the offense

It has gotten out of hand, receivers and ball carries are getting in scrums down field, offensive players slamming into the backs to push the ball carrier forward while the defensive players are coming from infront and sides trying to stop the momentum. Players tangled up falling in a heap, got to be great for the spinal cord, knees and legs.

The defEnsive player who comes in and takes that RB head shot onto _________ (name QB), will be crucified by the fans / media / NFL (fines). Heaven forbid its Patric (the new t*mmyb*y) Mahomes.

The pushing is total BS. There was a running play in the SB where Pacheco hit the line and kept driving on his own for 5 yards. They blew it dead when he hit the line I guess saying his progress stopped which was BS. On the QB sneaks, Hurts gets stopped and the whistle should blow but they then allow guys from all over to come and start pushing him from behind. It makes no sense. If you blow Pacheco's play dead when he was obviously still moving, then you have to call Hurts down when his progress obviously stops before the 2 or 3 guys come from the sides and start pushing him. I really think they need to reverse course on allowing this nonsense.

If it initiates more contact on the playing field.....I'm all for it..

NFL game has become the NBA on grass...

I want the open RB type HIT, just not on Kenny Pickett.

I don’t want injury.

I‘m thinking the competition advisory board will NIX this in short order. They will insight the “injury” factor and also the forward motion factor as well.

The NFL isn’t credible anymore and hasn’t been in quite awhile. They need these controversial things, including bad refereeing to help disguise the manipulation of points / wins / story line.
