Cam Heyward pectoral injury

During Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward reportedly suffered a pectoral injury. According to Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, that injury might wind up costing him some time, if not the remainder of the season.

Cook reports that head coach Mike Tomlin is expected to deliver the bad news on Heyward today during his weekly press conference.

And one of our best leaders. The next man up on the DL is pretty bad. This one hurts...

When Heyward misses time and since we only use 2 D-linemen most of the time, that puts our D exponentially behind the 8-ball. No chance to stop the run or get pressure (as little as we do get) on the QB.
 
Sigh. Doesn't even surprise me anymore.

Just another year of key injuries to key players at the worst time.

Has anyone tested the water in Pittsburgh lately?
 
I don't get why, specifically this D, cannot stay healthy for A game! Yet Mitchell "plays on......"

We should sign Terrance Knighton and then have Hargrave play the DE spot until Heyward comes back. Just a thought. Our other DE's stink.

I'd consider that for sure.
 
If Cam doesn't play, other teams will kill us on the ground.
 
Man, this was supposed to be our season...just ******* imploded because of injuries and ****** tackling.
 
Per Tomlin Heyward being re-evaluated, status up in the air.
 
Heyward posted to Instagram that hes done for the season.

Can big snack come out of retirement and just stand in the middle? Surely he can tie up 2-3 people... LOL
