They kicked a bunch of money down the road with him. He is a 6m cut and a 22 million play. He's hurt and trying but he has very little push and his retrace is slow. I'm not saying there isn't a number like 9 or 10 you couldn't meet at but I'd prefer not to kick more on the Cam Heyward mortgage for 2025. I'd rather be done with him then that.

If he's healthy next year, I think they keep him. He is still good when healthy. After that, he really needs to retire. If he wants to keep playing, I just can't see them signing him and I'd hate to see him play elsewhere.

The Steelers and Tomlin have found a way to run the legs off of a LOT of top talent only for them never to sniff a SB. Starting to look like Minkah and Watt, like Heyward, are headed that direction too.

Conor Heyward has regressed bigtime. He looked like a surehanded offensive weapon/gadget player towards the end of last season. Has he done anything this year?? Cam and the rest of the defense are getting ran through by 4th string runningbacks on a weekly basis. Trey sermon is a new low.

Very true. He can't block either. I think they could find better players to take his roster spot next year.

Problem with Connor is that he’s JAB
Only on the roster cuz his brother

he is an ok special teamer and a back end versatile depth piece for a roster, not really a guy that needs “featured” in any offensive sets

JAB

Yep! I like Cam and respect him and he’s been really good for a long time but at 34 I think it’s time to move on.

Connor is not just a body as he is not used. You could say PF is JAB except for one game. Connor and Pickett had good chemistry he is just forgotten in this offense along w/ 90% of the other players. As for Cam I would just like to see him retire.
