Unless he was out of fuel,why not fly above the weather and land at another airport? ..100 million bucks down the drain. We could have given that plane to Ukraine. Since it's one of our states now. I wonder if they'll vote in our next election?..haha.
They need to add a “Find my plane” like iPhones have for next time.

I'm sure it has a black box, but that plane is in a million pieces right now.
That works out to $100 per piece.
