They won't. Mineral rich countries and food producers are too reliant on China as a customer, high income western paper shufflers are too reliant on cheap Chinese labour subsidising their high consumption lifestyles.

We ordered a new couch today. It won't be in for 4-6 months. The couch is built next door in NC, but they get the hardware from friggin China...Nails and staples.... Apparently we can't make nails and staples at a profit, but we can pay to have them made in a foreign land and shipped across the globe..
