I'm only halfway through and it's an excellent podcast with Coach Cowher. Fun insight from some of Cowher's most famous moments with the Steelers and Coach clears up the 2004 draft day story about who he wanted to draft in the first round.

I’ll have to listen to it later, late night work and pretty tired.

Cowher really knew his stuff. He was always in it, to win it……..

He holds a play off record, 1st 6 consecutive seasons he made the playoffs, I don’t think any other coach has matched that.

Salute the nation

I just finished it. Easy to understand why Cowher was such a great coach. It didn't always result in championships, but the Steelers were in it nearly every year with him and made deep playoff runs. Another interesting thing he talked about was why he promoted TE coaches to OCs (about the 1 hour 20 minute mark, definitely worth the listen).

I love Ben on this podcast. He uses words like Patstericks and doesn't give a ****. Cowher had to chuckle it off and be PC because he is a talking head. Only thing that pissed me off in his book was treatment of that issue.

I audiobooked Cowher’s autobiography. Listened to it during our family trip to Tennessee. I have a new found respect for Coach Cowher. My wife started listening to it as well and she really liked it and she’s not a football fan. Loved hearing his philosophy of life, family and being a leader.

one of the best episodes thus far.

One of my daughters turned me on to Ben's podcast....She is a huge Big Ben fan and was always after me to watch.

I finally did...and man was I pleasantly surprised by the show and impressed with Ben's ability to do something like this!
He is totally in his comfort zone....maybe its because its in his own basement...........which looks totally unbelievable BTW..

I haven't watched the Cowher episode yet....but I m sure I will soon..

I have never watched an entire podcast of anything, until now. Not an ounce of pretension, just a couple of guys talking about our favorite topic. Listening to a slightly aging Cowher stumble over his Pittsburgh accented words takes me back to childhood weddings, reunions, VFWs, Elks club gatherings listening to all the old guys drink, talk and laugh all night. Good stuff.

What was cool about this is Ben's co-host/producer or whoever he is was a bystander. I think he's good at his job, but this was just a couple of guys talking. You can tell how much Ben grew to respect Cowher, especially when he spoke about he wished he could've played for him when he was older.

Interesting watch. Cowher is pretty motivating as well.

The big frosty Ben brought him was great

Anyone who starts watching this episode I suggest they set aside enough time - an hour and 40 minutes. Once I started I couldn't stop.

They talk about Cowher's 108-1-1 record with an 11+ point lead. That it was so extremely high was no fluke.

Absolutely amazing. Love the way they toasted Bettis over and over. Love Ben calling the cheats "pateriscks" or how ever that is spelled. I didn't know that Ben got fined for the pistol finger thing. Really stupid. Didn't know that Cowher got fined for the picture in the pocket thing. Really funny.

That show was just great.

I loved the way they talked about all of Cowher's Greatest Hits. Great stories behind them.
