Cooking with DIC——(SNF game meal, watt’s cookiN)

See what ya do is get a couple pieces of bread stuck/forgotten about that got really hard (mold optional)…pile the sauerkraut on high, then smear a decent pile of poop (preferably after a meal in which corn was eaten previously) all over the heel piece of bread to cover up the taste of the sauerkraut.

Eat a sandwich per quarter to make what you’re watching seem more palatable.

I call it the “Tomwich”

Wash it down with some Sambuca or any other liquor that creates a gag reflex so you can enjoy and savor the flavor of each Tomwich coming back up as well.

I see my evening going in several directions.

1) the path of the berm : Breaking things
2) the Lunar road : trailer court is just 500ft away
3) the slash estate : sit at home enjoy the game
4) the Badcat debical : read / write / arithmetic
5) the BLITZ : arranging freezer for beef & hog
6) the Coolie : fantasizing about the Lunar trailer park girl
7) the Steelmann : swimming / freezing his balls off
8) the Djfan : rubbing MIL’s feet while sharpening hunting knives
9) the Kentuckian : divorcing my sister and marrying my aunt

10) the DIC : Celebrating an astounding game of coaching supremacy with record setting play.
——- while burning his fried cabbage as he sits floored in disbelief……… of game

Salute the nation
Just for clarity's sake, I have never touched the MIL's feet. That's gross. I rub Mrs. Fan's feet. It brings good luck. The last two Stanley Cups won by the Pens are in debt to such foot rubs.

Seems I rarely buy beef these days, the price of steaks these days is frigging ridiculous. But I splurged on a nice strip loin.
Went foraging in the pouring rain yesterday with someone that hopefully knows what she’s doing 😉picked some chanterelles and oyster mushrooms. On the way back picked up a nice freshly caught Dungeons Crab from my fisherman friend.

Always,Always have a couple commercial fishing buddies.

So my menu will be bbq strip loin with a crab, wild mushroom fettuccine. Going to put a lump of that crab meat ,make a bearnaise sauce with asparagus to put on top of the steak to make it a steak Oscar. Succulent. It shall be a feast.

Pregame cooking:
Grilled (electric for today unfortunately) thin skirt steaks, garnished with:
- air fried sweet potato chips
- Air fried potato dices
- Smoked and Grilled bell peppers with salt, black pepper and olive oil
- Air fried plantains

Washed down with a couple of beers

Thats high level cooking, chapeau

Frozen pizza. Being lazy. Mrs. Burgundy picked up two bottles of 5 Hour Energy when we were grocery shopping yesterday so we can maybe stay awake until the end.

Didn't have time to make chili. I went to Wendy's and bought the family size serving for $14.50. Cheaper than homemade and tastes pretty good.. Add complimentary sour cream and shredded cheese, a couple nuked baked potatoes and we ate on the cheap tonight. Still have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow...Or a late night snack.

Just got back from a visit with my grandsons in Toronto .......... saw the steelers uniforms and lost my appetite ..........
