Coolie feels left out - opens his own QB thread - Wonderlic

Pretty good score Brady had a 33 and Peyton Manning only scored a 28. Being smart helps, but it wont cover up physical limitations

Wonderlic means dick

Exactly. Ask Dan Marino, Terry Bradshaw and Jim Kelly. I mean I think in today's NFL it might carry more weight, but Jim Kelly was the engine behind the beginnings of the hurry-up, no-huddle offense. Dan Marino looked like a Rhodes Scholar out there shredding defenses apart etc. Terry on the other hand, uh, no comment.

I would be a little concerned with the 17 and 15 but they might simply have more football X and O smarts. They could have focused in on that and less on academics.

Hugh Millen41QB
Carson Wentz40QB

Jeff Matthews40QB
Sean Mannion40QB
Nate Stanley40QB
Eli Manning39QB

Look at that list of high Wonderlic scores, there are only a couple that stick out as actual good to great NFL QBs.

I should take this back. While Terry has played the dumb hillbilly role, he did call most of his own plays. Can't be that dumb.

Tge nfl was supposed to get rid of these because they don’t actually correlate to anything

Dan marino scored a 16… Omar jacobs got a 38…. One is a qb i dream tge Steelers would have drafted tge other is a guy i wish they had used the pick they spent on him on a punter or a bag of cheetos…

He has acted pretty dumb here and there. Although I did like him in Black n Gold and Cannonball Run.😁

Im really curious…. The nfl didn’t do a wonderlic test this year… howd these scores happen? Or did individual teams try to give them?

I'm so out of the loop these days I don't even know half of these new rules etc but that sounds like what happened. And I liked Buckeye's post about the physical limitations and Strong (the player, I know that much) post without even really knowing anything about these QB prospects. :ROFLMAO:

I trust Buckeye's critical thinking skills and in-depth analysis on these guys, sue me. And me not knowing much about anything anymore still puts me a few steps ahead of d-bags like Ballz Deep, BamaSteeler52, Backdoor Butternut Bob etc. Although they may all be the same d-bag. Hmm, in that case, I'm really not that far ahead. :stupid:

I used to actually really like the draft and breaking down players etc. What was that one site that had the plethora of videos (not just highlights) of players? Draftbreakdown.com? I don't even know what the go-to site nowadays for film breakdown analysis is on these guys. The NFL has worn me down over the years.

Yes changed my mind. Think we should go qb rd 1 and if ridder is there take him in round 2. Then no one would know the plan

I simply have never put much stock in test scores that are intended to measure ones intelligence. Some people just don’t do well on these types of tests. Idk, maybe they freeze up, put too much stress on themselves, but getting a 15 in this test really means nothing. You take Marino, Kelly, Bradshaw, all had lower scores but all in HOF. They had the physical abilities and football intelligence to play at the highest level therefore some IQ test proved irrelevant.

Holy **** man!! Don't do that. Heck, even I don't do that most of the time! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

In Buckeye We Trust

I hear yaz Steelworth, the NFL has a tendency to wear yaz down due to how little they care about the actual FAN.
