Somehow his 52.1 average over the last two weeks wasn't enough to convince Tomlin that Waitman is the better option at punter.
 
Kendrick Green started all season at center. I don't even pretend to question his evaluation of talent at this point.
 
Hopefully Green won't start this week. Tomlin did say Green wore down heading toward the holidays. He should sit him this week. If Chuks moves to LT, Ben will be a deadman today.
 
Not sure how you have Harvin start. Makes no sense to me.

Are you really surprised? Harvin has pedigree, doesn't matter if the Waitman guy is better.

Word is Harvin was practicing outside, shanked a punt and broke Waitman's car windshield, which made Waitman late for Tomlin's mandatory mid-week pancake breakfast, which put Waitman in Tomlin's doghouse. All that takes precedence over Waitman's 52.1 average.
 
And....Harvin shanks a 39 yard punt to set the rats up for points...brilliant
 
Harvin shoud've been cut in October.
 
Waitman has got to be the starting punter next week vs KC. Tomlin is an absolute idiot if he starts Harvin over Waitman next week @ KC.
 
I mentioned this in another thread. Barring injury or Covid, Waitman needs to punt next week and or duration of the playoffs as long as the Steelers are in. Bring Harvin back next season to earn the job back.
 
Tomlin can't admit he made a mistake. We have a number of drafted guys who are pretty bad and we keep sending them out. I know in some cases we don't have many options but at punter we do.
