There was a car chase then he wrecked his car... probably figured he destroyed his career and many guys build their identity around their careers...
The most difficult thing to understand. No one in a right state of mind can possibly understand those who are not. All I know is way too many young men are doing it and it's an inconvenient truth as they say.
All I know is my son's best friend did it three years ago and loss of my parents and having to put my beloved dog down this summer paled in comparison to having to tell my boy what his friend had done. I still cry sometimes and openly wept hard at his funeral.
